Cal listened and nodded. She walked beside him in silence, before she looked at him. "You said you were the only one able to control the golums. What if the Master thinks it was you....?"

Will gave Cal a look, he had no reason to attack her, even the sceptical Master would be able to see that "Yes, I attacked the only person who's bothered to talk to me in the last five years. I don't think even the head master would accuse me of that." he gave a warm smile, not meaning to sarcastic joke to be cruel, merely prove his point. They got to the outside of the Master's office, the large live wood doors looming in front of them. From the other side there was the distinct sound of arguing from the other side. It was Eridod and Aldra as usual. Will couldn't see why the man didn't just fire her, he could always just get Aurora or someone else to take her place. He would never understand the master, never.

Cal looked at him, "No one's ever talke to you for five years?" She looked ahead of her, "That sucks...not even the Master? ...If I'd known you existed I would've tried talking to you..." she said, her voice trailing off as she heard the master and Aldra fighting.

"That's just it. No one knows I exist. It isn't a bad thing most of the time, people leave you alone but it is a lonely thing." Will explained drearily, he hated the fact he had no friends. He knew he was a failure as a wizard and because of that he tended to keep very much to himself but it made life very dreary. He listened to the argument on the other side of the doors, not wanting to intrude "Do you have any idea why they are always fighting like that?" he asked, he was always on the battlements or in his quarters, he never really paid attention to Eridod and Aldra but even he knew they always fought over something.

Cal listened to him. She remembered when she had been younger, how her brothers had been taken away before her. She had isolated herself from her friends, but slowly she had began talking to them again. She looked at him, "You need to let others know you're here...otherwise you'll be alone for the rest of your life. Well, not now. Now that I know you've been lonely for five years....but still. And no, I have no clue why they're fighting..."

Will gave a little shrug "I like being alone most of the time, people find me strange and weird for my race and my lack of magic." he explained quietly, not liking to talk about it much. He was a Balitor and even to him he was strange, wolves were very uncommon among them. He sighed, leaning back outside the door frame. He could hear the voices on the other side rising again "I don't get why he doesn't just fire her. It would be so much easier. He could bring Aurora or someone else in to take her place."
