'Me too' Jc said, turning her attention back to the horses on the track... 'Try not to think about it' she said, that's what she was doing...

I nodded. "Okay." I turned my attention back to the race.

Ruffian kept running, it was a 2 horse race at this point.

Jc cheered Tori and Ruffian on from the stands

Soon other horses began to catch up, but it was no match. They were already half way around, Tori already knew Ruffian was going to win.. Ruffian began to open up a length, then 2.

Jc was so into the race, that she almost forgot about her own nervousness : )

Ruffian snorted as she crossed the finish line, Secretariat second. Ruffian had won by 4 lengths. Secretariat did good though. Ruffian reared as she came to a stop and the crowd cheered. Fireworks also went off, even if it was day to kick off the event.

Jc hopped up and cheered for Ruffian and Tori : )... She got on Storm and walked him over... 'Yall did awesome' she shouted over the fireworks : )
