My name is Annaliese Korrigane. For the longest time, I had been living a dual life; during the day, I was Miss Korrigane, the quiet, meek and timid daughter of the landlord. At night, though, it was nothing but parties, dances and clients until I crashed into my bed early in the morning. My family did not know, for I was afraid they would renounce me as a part of their clan- I was especially terrified of losing my father's protection.
There were times when it felt like I was going through a dream sequence, that I was falling into a dream the moment my head hit the pillow. The odd thing, though, was that I did not know whether I was a noble dreaming of being a Lady, or a Lady going to bed and dreaming of being a noble. And that, I think, was what terrified me the most.
He was the only one who understood.

Random bit of writing, to keep myself in shape while I can't actually do any proper writing.

I could feel the ground tumble beneath me and my body stiffened tall and still wile the shots were herd quick and far. I wouldn't want to believe it if not sean. The war tanks tweenty tons of brass and steel,it's navy green,deep dark and unapealing in any sort of way made it's way off farther into the deep maroon dark dusk.

Is it so hard to ask for a peacefull subtle existence?
The maroon skys would fill up the dawn as the aura drew bitter and cold.
I wish for...meaning. Everything is pushed around,in through the ebbed rubble though do we even remember what we were at war for? The small flowers cast a fire and in the silence I wish someone would speak.
Maybe not me but someone. With red eyes,a strong gaize and a mercaless voice.

if only someone like that could exist. And I know my fantasia is so wrong.
Though Is there any care for that in this word? Of hiporcrytical stereotype pain?

It didn't seem possible for my world to have turned into this. This.... this hellhole. This place was not amber waves of grain, it was not your land, not my land. It was a barren wasteland. Vines crawled up the sides of buildings; I counted the days until the vines reached the top of the Empire State Building; soon, I presumed. Blood and shattered glass littered the sidewalks, and not much better littered the streets.

Bodies. Most were torn apart, by Them. They craved human blood, human flesh, human brains. They were like zombies, really. But worse. They look like us, walk like us, talk like us. But They have one thing that seperates Them from us. Bloodlust. They were hungry as hell, that's for sure. Once They started, They didn't stop. It didn't matter who They ate; I've seen terrible things. Things I wish I had never seen. A mother eating her son, a granddaughter eating her grandfather; it seems disgusting to us, but to Them it is nothing but dinner. Most t.v. channels are blank, now. Nothing but static. No more Spongebob, no more American Idol. Just the same display of colorless static. The internet works, though. But Yahoo is never updated with new news, there are no new Youtube videos, unless they're desperate pleas of help from people trapped, hiding from Them.

After a few weeks of feasting, They begin to decay, and take on the traditional 'zombie' look. They do not moan, They do not crawl, but They do smell. They have the same intelectual ability as any other person, which makes it even worse. Before the Invasion, nobody would have thought about a zombie outsmarting you. I didn't think it was possible; which was exactly the mistake I made.

She always sat on her own, that's what he noticed. He sat with his brothers and sisters, the only place where he fit in. He had many friends, though all of them were family. She didn't seem to talk to anyone.

She was smart, that's what he noticed. He was smart too, in the top set for everything. He got high marks in all his tests. She did too.

She was an artist, that's what he noticed. He didn't have much interest in art. He prefered music, though he supposed that was a kind of art too. Her art was pinned up in the school gallery, where everyone could see it.

She was quite shy, that's what he noticed. He was outgoing and liked talking to people. He wanted to talk to her. She might never know.

I fed off feeling until you died.
Then I had nothing left to hide.
I screamed my secrets to the ceiling.
I couldn't take it any more.
I'm human too, I had feelings.
But now they're gone,
so you must of known what I did
you haven't seen it yet though.
I search for you, but I'm thinking you ended up somewhere else.
Just to let you know, I still love you, Mother with all the blood I had left...

You said 'Moments come and moments go', you said 'Sweetie, let them roll.' But how was I suposed to let this roll?

You couldn't speak, your vision hazy and flames engulfed your head. Me? I sat there helpless staying even a few moments after your eyes glazed, every limb in your body went limp and your heartbeats fell silent next to mine. I decied to get up and open the door. The grass was a dead yellow brown color, trees bare, every house damged in some way and people weeping and glumy walking. Or at least that's how I saw it. My friend walked up to me. "Hey, Ivy!" I stared at him blankly. "Cat got your tounge?" I stared at him as tears started to well up in my eyes. He cocked his head, "Hey, what's wrong?" "Nothing!" I yelled through gritted teeth. He backed up a bit. He walked over to a tree a patted to a spot next to him. "Tell me what happened." I walked over and sat down next to him.

I told him everything. By the time I was done my eyes were bloodshot from crying and a emtpy Kleenex box next to me. Kleenex was scattered around me and the yard. My friend, Caleb nodded through the whole thing. At the end he pulled out a pocket knife from his pants pocket. "My uncle sent me another. You can have it." he held it out to me. I took it with tembling hands. "One side is real sharp." He said showing me a scarred thumb. Caleb got up and left. I opened the pocet knife as the sharp end I guess he was talking about made a thin trickle of blood down my finger. Dang that is sharp. I stared at it for a while, I had nothing left. I held the point next to my neck.

I started to lower the knife from my throat. Suddenly a person bumped into me. They turned around and said sorry as their eyes filled with panic. The knife studded my neck and I started to cry as I pulled out it out and covered the gash with my hand. I ran back inside grabbing a roll of gauze from the medicine shelf and wrapping it around my neck. There was a burning and throbbing pain in my neck. The person, a girl ran up to me. "I'm sooo sorry honey. I'll dive you to the hospital." I tried to talk but blood spilled out of my mouth. The girl ran me to her house shoved me in a car and drove for my life.
