Her brow arched and she took a few slow strides back. "Whoever said it was fun to be 'proper'?" She snorted, eyes darting around nervously. There was no reason for Vela to show up but still Rai hoped she would show up. It was slightly crazy to think the rabicano mare would help her half sister, but she did enjoy a good fight. if there is any justice in this world please let that bum show up. She didn't really know why she'd turned to the thought of Vela and clung to it. She shook her head and let out another whinny, to intimidate the three enemies and hopefully call Vela. She would hold out for only a bit more, waiting, then she'd see what would happen.

She had been hearing the sounds of battle now for a while. Her hooves danced on their own accord and her neck was flexed as she pranced about. Whinnying broke the air and she wanted to go. Rai was right on the money when she bet on Vela's need for blood and battle. She tossed her head, flaring her nostrils in indecision. So tempting the cries were she began to canter along toward the sounds. But what she saw in the far distance unnerved her. A three against one fight was about to happen. How interesting. Well which side would she choose? If she chose at all? She snorted and got a little bit closer. When she was able to tell who they were she nearly spat curse words. Rai, Reaper, Reaper's brother, some mare. D*mn it. Why couldn't fate be kind to her? She didn't want to get involved with that crowd again. She rolled her eyes and suddenly, loudly whinnied back to Rai.

Parousia listened as Rai called out in help. He was too excited to even care. He was ready, Reaper was ready, Rain was ready. Everyone was ready to fight...until a returning call echoed back to them.

"G** D*** it, not her again!" Reaper squealed in anger recognizing Vela's voice. "I thought we were rid of her."

So she was calling for back-up, well two could play that game, Parousia thought and let out a sharp whinny into the air. Calling everyone in his family. His sons, his daughters, his mares, anyone willing to fight for them.

I thought if I suceeded, I'd be happy and they'd go away
but first ting every morning, I'd still wake up and I'd hear them say:
"You're fat, ugly and stupid; you should really be ashamed. No one will ever like you, you're not good at anything"
sometimes I'd rise to the challenge

Athena was grazing with Sum when she heard her father's call. She knew something was up and nuzzled her stallion for a moment. "I'll be back love, I need to assist my father. Something's wrong and I'm worried. Don't worry, I'll be back soon" she said and thundered off towards Parousia. She whinnied clearly to him and to her brother, hoping whatever it was wasn't too serious.

Devarian was grazing with Echo when hea heard his father's and sister's call. He knew something was on the rise and he nuzzled Echo. "I'll be back in a moment. I'm just going to help my father. Rain lifted her head. "Well, it seems like we're getting more 'recruits' than you." She observed dryly. Things were blowing way out of proportion. "Don't you think this is a little... much?" The mare asked Parousia quietly, lowering her head to nuzzle his shoulder.

Mystic dutifully cantered over. "What's happening?" She asked, a little worried.

Parousia glanced over at Rai. "I'm hoping it doesn't get to that. Hopefully our numbers alone will prevent a fight but I'm not sure. Plus, if I know my children, some would kick me of I didn't call them." He looked over as Mystic joined and asked for information. "Rai has rebelled against the herd and left but unlike many mares who leave it at that, she's stirring up trouble. I'm hoping I can have all the help we'll need to avoid but more likely win this fight safely."

Athena made it to catch her father's explanation to Mystic. She looked coldly at Rai and nodded to her father. "I see. I'll provide all the asistance I can dad. I'd ask about Nightfall but I don't know where he went. I think he might have left Utasia for good. We have enough though. We'll be alright," she said in a lead-like manner.

Devarian met up with Athena and Mystic by his father, uncle and lead mare. "I'm here and ready father, whenever you're ready," he said and stood by his sisters' sides protectively.

Rain dipped her head, not entirely consoled. "All right." She said, for even though she despised Rai, she would hate to see all of these horses rush at the lone mare.

Mystic nodded and stood, glaring at the other mare. She snorted, contemptuous.

If it was possible for an already charred heart to fall and burn again at the same time it happened to Rai. She was light with the fight of defiance and hate. But their numbers were many and that made her heart fall with hopelessness. However, she still had a few tricks up her sleeve. She slowly raised her head as high as she could and fixed her eyes on the place were Parousia's herd normally resided. She let a last, desperate whinny float into the air forcing as loud as she dared. It contained a note of fear and desperation she did not want them to know of and some of her need was indeed fake. But she knew if she was to draw her foals to her she'd have to be in 'trouble'.

She snorted as it suddenly turned into an all out family affair. "I'm in." She muttered to her half sister as she trotted up. Rai, of course, ignored her and whinnied again. "Ow, what was that for?" Vela hissed, shaking her head as the sisters brushed shoulders. She looked up at the crowd. What how many were there? Six now? What plan did her sister have? But even thought it looked bleak, Vela danced eagerly. Rai was so much more like her now, and not like Silva the goody two shoes.

She had heard the cry of her father but figured herself too young to fight. Then she heard her mother's cry and watched her brother head off in interest. She followed suit, curious as to what was going on. He cantered along slowly, aware his sister was following. When they came upon the scene of the eminent fight she cried out to her parents and he just sullenly stood between the two sides. Summoned by the calls of their parents, only to see them ready to fight. Rai alone with their aunt. Parousia and his six family members there. It was a horrible sight for Asha who cried out: "What is going on? Mother? Father?"

Karma grunted as he was knocked away, stumbling but regaining his footing with effort. Next thing he knew Ebony was in his face again, and the paint reared in alarm, whinnying. He thrashed wildly with this sharp, thick hooves, aiming for the stallion's muzzle and eyes, though not hitting him. He leaped to the side and spun around, then lunged. He bit down on the back of Ebony's neck, trying to shove him away whilst bringing his knees up and jabbing his rib cage with them. His jaws were quickly tightening their grip, and he was shaking his head madly, like a dog would with a rope or chew toy. At this point he figured he better back off to try to avoid any counter attacks. But he didn't. He just continued, trying to inflict as much damage and pain as possible, to make his enemy suffer.

Parousia glared at the mare when the Asha and Kairan came to the fight. He saw his daughter worry adn even cry out in a sense of desperation.
"That has to be the lowest card anyone has ever pulled, using their children to spare their own hides," Reaper spat at the mare.
Parousia nudged his brother, trying to keep the stallion from lunging at the mare. He turned to his daughter with a concerned fatherly expression. "We're just having a small disagreement Asha, don't worry. Go back to the herd, this isn't something you should be associated with."

Rain turned to Reaper. "Would your son fight against you for his mother?" She asked tentatively, her voice low. Her ears were still flat, and now she pawed the ground, lashing her tail with a mixture of anger and anxiety. She wasn't very worried about what the filly would do, for even Rai wouldn't try to force her foal to fight, she didn't think. But still, she knew that mare was twisted and possibly evil, so there was no saying what she might and might not do.

Mystic started to pace, disliking the whole situation. She would be here, fight if she had to, then leave. After a long time alone, herds just weren't for her.
