Devilpaw padded out of the apprentices den his gray fur fluffed up. He looked around, green eyes shinning before padding towards the fresh-kill pile.

Venompaw was sleeping.

" Devilpaw " Windstreak said loudly before he walked into the apprentice den . " I have an assignment for you today "

Devilpaw perked his ears and then turned to his mentor padding over towards him. "Yes Windstreak?" he mewed.

(Poor Wolfpaw Wolfheart is his/her mentor. That apprentice will be fear stricken/hatfull when she's done with him. But he also might become a stronger warrior that way)

I look around the snowy camp for my pathetic apprentice.

"We are going to patrol the borders , today , is that fine with you ?" Windstreak said to Devilpaw .

(lol I got scared for a second there. I had to check the list! XD)

Venompaw yawned and padded out into the cold camp, his eyes narrowed against the cold. He hated it when it was cold. Already he wanted to turn around and sleep. Sighing the happy-go-lucky tom shivered for a moment or two and padded beside Devilpaw.

Devilpaw nodded when he scented his brother. "Hey Venompaw." he mewed in greeting as he got to his paws.

Venompaw groaned and Devilpaw nudged his brother to his paws. "C'mon it isn't that bad." he mewed but Venompaw grumbled but complied.

I curl in a corner of camp, blending perfectly into the snow. Looking like a pair of eyes in the snow.

(becuz I thought Wolfheart was Venompaw's mentor until I saw the list. XD)

Venompaw yawns again and then sniffs the air for any sign of his mentor. His ice-blue eyes try to find her, but he can't. Grumbling and churnning to himself he begings padding out of the camp entrance.
