I remember when you had to enter a pet's ID number to enter it in a trade...it took so much longer than it does now!

Yeah, I had to pull up another tab to put in one pet and then, the computer would try to die on me. I use an old one that hates me.

I remember the old forum layout. *nostalgic sigh* I liked that layout.

Oh my gosh, I remeber wondering why anyone would want to adopt more than 1 pet. Ugg.. i cant belive i didnt adopt more than 1!!
I also remember only adopting the pets that looked like avian. Again...why did i do that??
I remeber when we had no wish lists. I could NOT find out how to make one.

I remember when the pets were just codes you could copy and paste onto your signatures on forums and websites and then they were all made into actual adoptables and 'converted' so that they could fit the new system. And all the trouble adding pets to the accounts when they were a new thing and not being able to tell which people were the actual owners of the pets. I remember wishing I had adopted more sun dogs and moon dogs because I didn't have the moonswirl or jewel dogs between the few I had xD The importance of the pets skyrocketed with the addition of rarities! And then the inclusion of new species was so exciting! And being able to have a FORUM, it was only a link on a P.F. Magic Petz website in the very beginning, Silent Wofl Kennelz? And then the archive was a separate website that was totally unrelated and it was then merged to the actual website and we had the first archivist.

And now I just mixed the chronological order of things. I'm way too old, I wonder if anybody was around for that, haha xD

I was. ^^ In fact, I submitted one of my saved pup images for that off-site archive and it was actually used. ^^ I felt all helpful and stuff. *puffs chest out proudly*

I joined back in 2008 when things started out small. The leafy skin we have now was most likely just a twinkle in Tess's eye. The Pound didn't have random selections, but pages--the smarter users found the rarest pets in the back. The old warrior cats were the responsibility of Lawliet. Malk had been an every day member before January 09.
There wasn't a whole lot to CS back then but a small community.
Now that it's bigger, it's time to remember what it was like and pass down the old stories.

What do you remember of Chicken Smoothie in 2008-2009? Gather round the CS campfire and tell the new members what it was like, discuss the days of old and remember your old friends that quit.
