She flinched again. She looked uneasy.

Nosferatu ran behind her fearfully. He glanced back at his father and sister with big eyes.

Makkila stood with Elysium and the other mares. Euphoria and Tartarus were off doing their own thing. She didn't care. It kep the yearling busy and kept the littel rogue out of her hair. Elysium was a pleasure though. She did as she was told, was polite and sweet, Makkila had to wonder where it came from. Her grandparents, was her immediate answer and she grazed quietly.

Karma gritted his teeth, shaking his head angrily. He looked at Haley, a forlorn look in his eyes masking the cold fury and hatred boiling up behind them. "Haley, please..." There was a hint of pleading in his voice. There was a long pause, and he shook his head again. "I can't believe you." He turned, as if he was getting ready to leave, without her. Which he was about ready to do. And he began to think that the mare didn't really like him, only that a few years ago she was just using him for protection and freedom of their birth herd until she found another herd.

She lowered her head. She followed after him then stopped. "You've changed from the yearling I loved. I don't know how I know but I do and I'm not sure whether or not to be afraid now."

Nosferatu followed her slowly.

"You never loved me," Karma spat back at her. "I haven't changed, you just don't know me. You never did. But I'm not going to waste my breath begging you to come back." With that, he slowly started to walk back. He had had enough. If she wanted to come back, fine. He'd welcome her with open arms. If not... he had actually grown some attachment to her, and it would hurt to see her choose any other stallion over him.

((Not if he walks away from it o3o Well, I still kind of do want a fight, but Karma just doesn't care anymore. xP))

He wondered why Haley was putting this off. When they were yearlings she loathed anything to do with Ebony. Now she was choosing him perhaps? He shook his mane out. Interesting to say the least. He moved in front of Light as she tried to follow her mother and brother. As her father blocked her path she whinnied to them as they started to follow Karma. Ebony shushed her and turned to watch yet again. "Well?" His brow arched as Karma began to leave and his interest increased.

Haley glared.. "Yes I did." She heard her daughter and looked back at Light and whinnied softly. She looked at Ebony. She then looked back at Karma looking uncertain. She lowered her head sadly. "Then don't Karma. You never wanted me around to begin with." She turned and walked over to Ebony. She felt her heart breaking.

Nosferatu followed behind her happily. He trotted over to Light and nuzzled her.

Karma.... he lost it. Snapped. There was no way in h*ll he'd let Ebony win that easily. He wheeled around, tearing up grass as he whinnied shrilly and charged back at the stallion, his powerful muscles rippling beneath his pelt. "STAY AWAY FROM MY SISTER!" he screamed, slamming his body into Ebony, and he put some real brute strength behind it. Without waiting to see what damage he did he snapped savagely at the stallion's throat and jowl, trying to get a hold on any flesh or whatever. Deep inside, he really did love Haley, even though he refused to admit out loud, not even to himself in his own thoughts. At least not until now. He just hoped that actually launching an assault on the friesian would show her that he would actually risk being brutally, painfully murdered just so that he could have her back. And if this didn't prove anything to her, then he didn't now what would. It wasn't as if he was a deep, romantic poet who could actually tell and outwardly express how he felt. He wasn't afraid of Ebony, not any more. And he wouldn't stop fighting until he was dead or until he won. No exceptions.

Haley squealed in shock. She watched Karma in horror. She knew Ebony could easily kill him and so did Karma. She raced forward. "Karma! Stop please stop!"
