Sophie sighed. "Oh, that's interesting. Well, um, sorry for bothering you. I suppose I freaked you out with all the questions." she looked down at he boots.

"Don't be!"The Doctor said rushedly."I'd ask a particularly dashing man many questions if I were you! it's not every day your friend will trip someone and pet their hair...or is it? Does this happen often?"
That would definitely help the problem at hand.

Sophie giggled, blushing. "No,things like this don't usually happen around here. In fact, you probably are the most friendly, and nicest guy around here. Sophie was, as far as he could tell, sweet and good natured. He wouldn't leave out that she was very pretty, too.
But he couldn't allow himself to realize that too deeply.

Sophie's blush deepened. "Really?" She smiled,yes, she certainly liked this guy. She hoped he stayed around for a while, that was for sure.

He noticed the redness on her face, and, silly one that he was, thought it was because of the cold.
