Noah jumped down from the tree, grinning again now. It was more false, now, though. Or should I say, more obviously false. He tilted his head, "What happened to you, then, that made you come all the way up here, to the confines of the forest?"

Sage shrugged. "You left him first." He glanced back at Elsie. "I know someone who can deal much more dark magic than you can, honey."

Kiernan sighed, looking past his shoulder and out the window.

Elsie rolled her eyes, "I wasn't planning to fight so guess what? I don't care."

Jae watched the birds flitting around outside of the room.

Sage shrugged. "Do you know there's a way to turn a vampire back into a human?" he taunted.

Kiernan caught Jae looking at the birds, and made the shadows creep up to the window, opening it. She smiled as a few flew in, landing on the windowsill.

"Elsie, shut up before you get yourself killed... You're too young to be challenging the king of the Winter Fae..." Ash grumbled, glancing at the young vampire for a moment. "Sage... I may have left him first, but it's one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made. At least I was able to be with the love of my life, even if I ruined it. You can't seem to get Kieran to give you a second look!" Ash chirped, smirking a bit as she said it, knowing that she was really playing with fire now.

"I like walking out in the shadows... Makes me feel at peace..." Vira murmured, leaning back against the tree behind her, watching him rather closely.

Jae smiled, "That's cool," he said to Kier as he held out his hand the bird flying and landing on his finger.

Elsie smiled, "I know. I don't want enemies, though it may be too late now, so I don't fight, ever."

"I had her for thousands of years, Ash. The fey edventually get bored, and move on. It does not matter anymore." Sage snarled. The damp earth froze under his feet.

Kiernan smiled. "I have lots of tricks up my sleeve."

Noah tilted his head slightly, as he stepped closer, "Hm... You never know what may be lurking in them, though." He giggled, "Don't want your precious little head getting too harmed, do we?"

Elsie stepped back from the frozen ground, "Everyone gets bored eventually!" She said brightly, "That's still too bad you lost her though."

Jae smiled, "Yeah I see that..." He whistled a small tune and the bird chirped back to him.
