Jace kissed her back for a moment, then walked over to where a flight attendant was waiting at the stairway into the plaine. He nodded and walked in.

Ash giggled softly as she followed him into the plane, never actually having flown in a private jet before. She had always preferred ground travel to air travel, unless she was traveling across the sea, that is.

Jace sat down on the couch and watched her. "I mostly just use this jet for traveling from continent to continent or to small islands. Boats bore me to death, and regular air travel is so slow."

"Hmmm... I rather enjoy boats... The ocean always smells lovely..." Ash murmured thoughtfully as she moved to sit beside him on the couch, leaning into him a bit as she did so, her head resting on his shoulder.

Jace winced. "I found i havent liked boats since the Mayflower. Long journey."

"Thank the gods I stayed in Europe until after that... That really would have been awful..." Ash murmured, looking up at him. She really couldn't imagine him as a pilgrim of the new world, though she figured he might have been the only reason the human race actually survived that first winter, though history books were keen on saying it was because of Natives.

"And why do you think that?" he said,reading her mind as the jet lurched forward.

Ash giggled softly, remembering that he could read her mind. "Because it's highly unlikely that they would have survived otherwise... Besides, you could have shown the Natives how to grow things..." she murmured, pretty convinced on this.

Jace smiled. "You're good at guessing things. You know what else i did?"

"What else did you do?" Ash asked with a smile, wanting to know more about what all he did while they were apart.
