"He kept this?" Kiernan murmured, shocked. She glanced back to the door, and was relieved to know that Jae hadn't followed her.

Jae waited for Kier. Last time he had followed her she wasn't happy so he stayed where he was.

Kiernan walked back out, shutting the study door lightly. She walked up the stairs, only to see Jae sitting on a chair. She was silent for a moment, then genstured to the ripped photo in her hand "Sage... got a bit mad...."

"Yeah, I felt it, he rocked the house," Jae said.

Kiernan giggled. "He always did have a bit of an anger problem, but it's gotten a bit worse in the last few years. Sour old Faery..." She laughed again, keeping the picture facing away from him, not wanting Jae to see the picture.

"We should be able to make it to the coast within an hour just by running... It's just getting across the Atlantic that poses an issue..." Ash murmured thoughtfully, trying to think of the fastest way to make it to Romania, as normal human travel was just too slow for her tastes.

"How about a private jet? Cuts normal travel time into thirds." Jace asked.

"When did you get a private jet?" Ash asked, arching her eyebrow at him. She knew that times had certainly changed, but she never figured that he would be the type to have, or have access to, a private jet.

Jace smiled. "While you were writing poetry, I was investing, saving, and selling."

"I'd like to think that I made the better choice there, but still, that's pretty amazing!" Ash murmured, sticking her tongue out at him before giggling a bit and leaning back in the seat of the car.
