She beamed at Sol, waiting for her answer. Zero spun around, her fur flying around in mad swirls, seeing a wolf. She angled her head sharply, eyes turning fierce. Instantly, she stood in front of the other wolves, towering over her.

But then she stopped, watching. Her stature softened, and she saw the sadness in the wolf's eyes. She padded closer, a slight smile on her face.
