I keep running, making strange jumps sometimes to dodge the wolves' attacks. I feel something wet and notice that it's my sweat dripping down my neck. I'm getting exhausted and it wouldn't take long until I'm wolf-food. But I can try, right?
I feel my heart beating in my throath. Someone's gotta be there around, right? Did someone hear me? Or am I too far away from the other horses to be heard?
I scream as one of the wolves grabs my hindleg. The ground's coming towards me fast, and I know I'm falling. With a loud thud I hit the floor, and lie down dizzly for a second. One second that's long enough to make me a weak prey. The wolves jumped upon me all together, and while I feel my warm blood stream over my dark skin, and the stabbing pain in my side, I can only hope that someone had heared my scream...

~When the wind blows over the land, and the sun spreads across the sky when a river bubbles over a bed and a magestic horse appears, you have something to live for~

Triant/Bachelor Stallion

Triant snorts throwin his head around to intimadate the other stallions, it workes alittle on Arrow who backed away and the stallion snorted pawing the ground. Triant though flicked his ears as s ound came to his ears and he turned his attention away from mares and towards the sound of an animal in pain. Triant half reared alittle and galloped off toward it to investigate. It sounded like a horse... was it being captured? or attacked? Triant didn't stop to think as he plunged down the hills towards the forest where he visbily saw several wolves attacking a lone mare. The bay stallion lowered his head nostrils flaring and hooves pounding he ran through to distract them. The scattered and watched as he wheeled back around after them rearing up and tossing his mane as they tried leaping for him. The stallion bared his teeth and landed away from them neighing for the mare to run. The wolves were snarling and raising their hackles distracted from here and towards him leaping and biting his flanks. Triant whipped around to land a kick in their jaws, he made contact with one and heard it yelp in pain.

I see the stallion arrive, and sigh from relief. So it's not my end. He fights the wolves, but I know he has no chance on his own. Slowly I push myself on my legs, groaning from pain. He neighed; I had to get away. But I will not listen. Quickly I check my injuries, they're not very bad, I can go on with this. With a whinny I throw myself in the battle, feeling the wolve's teeth everywhere around me. But I can't let someone die who saved my life. I just can't. I buck, rear, swish around with my hooves and bite in the soft skin of the wolves. I rear and my front hooves hit the wolf's skull with a sickening crack. I look up and see that most of the wolves give up now, they don't want to be killed by a horse.
Now I notice that I'm shaking, from fear and from excitation. Now I feel the wounds, the injuries. Blood flows all over my body, and I know that I have to rest. I look at the stallion, mumble a thank-you and, with fear in my eyes, run back into the forest.
