Still Thinking about the sunback - I'm SURE the demand has gone down, the last time i ever saw someone who said it was their dreamie was back in Late July.

Their demand has plummeted. I've only seen two people since July.

But what has this got to do with it's rarity changing? ;3

They want to say their rarity may go down because of that .3.

Ummm... Well, actually it does.
When it is in demand, it may go up, because a lot of people Overoffer.
When it is too much in demand, like with hoarders, the rarity goes down because so many people have them.
When the demand is low, it stays the same, but changes with the monthly rarity change.
Does that make sense ?

What they mean is, it has nothing to do with SITE rarity. ^^ For overall rarity, yes, but the tags on the pets are based on numbers and have no relation to demand.

This thread is for the calculated rarity of pets, which has NOTHING to do with demand. The rarity tag on pets is determined by the number of that type of pet on the site versus the number of players and doesn't have anything to do with how much people want it.

It's not like the sunback will suddenly become "rare" because fewer people want it... there is still the same number of sunbacks on the site, so the sunback will stay very rare. Its market value might go down, but that is not the same thing as rarity.

those are overvalued. i kind of doubt it. you can still find a decent amount of them if you look in the right spot.
