This is me, Niara.


This is my best girl friend, Mataya. Yes, that's her Halloween costume too. Isn't she pretty? c:


This is my other friend, Indigo. We're really close too.


This is my other friend, Leona. We're also really close.

So, that's my BFF group. Oh yeah! I almost forgot CM!


This is Ceoto Meows! She's the "new girl," she barely speaks English, but we're already besties.

This is my dad, my friends call him Mr.Gates. Niara Gates.. Weird name, right?


This is my mom, she's really pretty, huh?


This is my older sister, Merica.


This is my little brother, he's so annoying! His name's Timmy.

Dear Diary,

Today in math class I fell asleep and Shelby jumped up and screamed, "NIARA GATES IS SLEEPING IN YOUR CLASS, MR.PETERSON!!!" So, I got in trouble and not the crazy nut screaming at the top of her lungs. Unfair. Oh, and this is Shelby the class tattle tale and goodie toe shoes.



So, me and Shelbie had to go to the princables together.. Here's what happened:

Princable Alclac: "What happened now?"
Me: "I fe-"
Shelbie: "Niara Gates fell asleep in class, Mr.Alclac! You should have her expelled imediatley! This school does not have time to teach nappers!"
Princable Alclac "Is that true, Niara?"
Me: "Yes, but-"
Shelbie: "I knew she would say but! Niara always buts! She's been butting sense first grade! It's rediculous, Mr.Alclac! Nobody should have to put up with her laziness!"
Me: "You don't under-"
Shelbie: [color=#8000FF]"There you go again, Niara! You can't even take the punish-"
Me: "Could you just let me talk!!! I was up all night listening to my parents fight, my brother sreaming, and my sister yelling at some guy she had over! I DON'T WANT TO LISTEN TO YOUR CRAP, SHELBIE! I've put up with you sense first grade and I'm sick of you!!!!!!
Princable Alclac: "THAT'S ENOUGH OUT OF BOTH OF YOU! Niara, you're having three days of detention! I don't want you back in here for the rest of the week or you're suspended! The two of you will be going to the student counsceler.. Together."

I tried to tell him what happened, but he wouldn't even listen to me. On top of that, Shelbie kept interupting me through every word, and I missed math class! I would probably fail through school now. Missing a day in math is really bad for me, I already missed alot of it because of Shelbie yelling at me all the time. I'll write more tonight.

Dear Diary,

As I was walking home from school with Ceoto, Leona, Indigo, and Mataya we saw Roxin Dare, we call him Rain.



Mataya stopped in her hoof tracks. She started fluffing her charcoal hair, and flipping it to the side, styling it I guess. Then Rain came over and was like, "Hey Mataya." I think he was flirting, maybe that was just his voice. Mataya has that dreamy twinkle in her eyes, I said "I'm Niara." real quick and Mataya shook herself from the faze. They started talking, and Rain asked us to go to the donut shop down the street with him! Did I mention he's the most popular guy in school!? And we're the nerd herd, as Jayla and her other populars call us. This is Jayla and the group:



The first dog with the blonde hair and white and caramel fur is Jayla, the purple star dog is Dream, and the one with the bow is Krissy.

I bet Jayla would be mad, I told them I didn't want to go, but he insisted. So, then we went to the donut shop, we actually had a lot of fun. And Rain said we would hang out more often! So, after that we all walked home.
As soon as I got home it was all screaming and fighting. I don't want to talk about it.

Dear Diary,

Me and Shelbie had to go to the student counseler, Mr.Rex. He's the ugliest horse ever, I don't really want to show the picture because how ugly it is, but...



Isn't he the scrawniest ugly thing ever? He has a really bad hunch back too, you can't really tell in the pciture though. Anyways, so of corse Shelbie just kept blabbering on about some sob story that probably wasn't even true. She said that I'm alway mean to her and I'm always throwing erasers at her in class. Guess what? Mr.Rex told the princable about it, and now I'm getting detention. He kept his promise too, so now I'm suspended for a day, tomorrow. Mom and Dad are going to kill me! Litterally. Mom may be pretty, but her hooves are sharp, and Dad may be a cute little teddy bear, but his flames aren't a joke. Also, Merica and Timmy are going to bother me about it all day. And the little snitch, Shelbie told Krissi ( the only popular that's talk to her sinse she's in one of the smart classes ) and Krissi told Jayla, and she told everyone! So now everyone in the school knows I got suspended. I might get a bad reputation, this will be on my perminate record! I'll be stupid, jobless, and homeless! Okay, maybe I'm over reacting.. After all, lunch is soon. Lunch is relaxing, and after school I'll be going out with Rain. As friends. Not like boy friend and girl friend or anything. I couldn't do that to Mataya, besides, he's dating Jayla anyway. Oh no! Mr.Peterson saw me! Shelbie be quiet! I'll write after my "date!"

Dear Diary,

Lunch was a disaster.
I sat at my normal table with Ceoto, Leona, Indigo, and Mataya. Jayla was with her noraml group, three tables away, paying no attention to us. All was well. Then, Rain came and sat beside me and Mataya! He usually sits with the jocks and sometimes Jayla and the populars, and once and a while with the cheerleaders. But never with Niara and the nerd herd! Most people think Mataya runs the nerd herd, but nobody really "runs" us.. We're all induviduals. Rain was mostly talking to me, Mataya looked a little mad, but Jayla looked furious. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Jayla whispering something to Duck Boy, I was a little worried, but ignored it.



That's Duck Boy, he's pretty cute, and a "bad boy." I'm not into the bad boy type anymore though, I remember when I used to like him when I was a mindless elementry school girl. People use Duck Boy for favers and stuff. Like, bad favors. He's the kid who will egg someones house without hesitation if you ask him to. He got the name Duck Boy when he threw a dead duck in Shelbie's bookbag in sixth grade because one of the jocks told him to. That's when his bad favor reputation started too. He's really funny, crazy, and cool- Like Seann William Scott or something.. but anyways.
After a few minutes of talking to Rain, Duck Boy came behind me, and dumped a bowl of sausey hot spagetti on my head! My maghony maine was covered in sause and noodles! I could hear Jayla laughing from behind me, her popular slaves were laughing too. Pretty soon the whole cafeteria was a chorus of laughter. I started to cry, but to my suprise Rain stood up like, "What's your problem, man?" and him and Duck Boy got in a huge fight! But Rain won, Jayla ran over and started screaming at Rain like, "What are you doing? Stop!" It was awful. Duck Boy had to go to the hostpital, he probably just had a broken paw or something. I got to go home early, and Rain had to, too. Because of corse I couldn't stay with a spagetti main and sause face, and he couldn't stay being "dangerous" now. I kept thinking about how Rain stood up for me. At least I'd have more time to get ready for our "date."

When I came home Mom and Dad weren't home, and Timmy and Merica were at school. Great. I took a long, warm shower and curled my hair, put on a dress, everything. I looked so pretty!
My magohny main and tail were in beautiful silky curls of dark brown-red. My bright blue eyes sparkled along with my eye lids. My dark eyelashes were longer, my hooves shined, and my gold coat glimmered and was really soft. I was wearing a dark indigo-purple dress to match my bow, I ever put diamond and purple gems on my glasses.

This is not a date.

I went to the donut shop right on time, but he didn't come.
Maybe his parents wouldn't let him sense he got in a fight. Maybe Jayla found him and wouldn't let him go. Maybe he didn't want to come in the first place. Maybe he meant to ask Mataya. Maybe this is just another trick. Maybe he died...
Just as I thought that I saw a tall figure in a tuxedo in front of me. I saw short brown and blue fur, I jumped backwards. Duck Boy was there! I was like, "Duck Boy!? What do you want? What are you doing here?" And he didn't say anything, he justed pulled me in the shop, and we ate donuts together... I was soo confused. What was going on?

When I got home Mom and Dad screamed at me, and now I'm grounded... Great.

`Dear Diary,

It's tomorrow, I'm suspended and grounded.
I was just sitting on the couch eating a bag of doritos when the phone rang. It was Rain! Here's what we said:

Me: "Hello?"
Rain: "Hey. Is this Niara?"
Me: "Oh my g- Y-yes. It's me."
Rain -he laughs- "Do you wanna come over or something?"

By then I was freaking out, he was asking me out again! I said I would really quick, I hung up, then ran upstairs to get ready. I wore a light olive green T-shirt with thick white stripes, and my usualy glasses, red reins, and indigo bow. So, I walked to his house, and we talked. He told me that the reason why he didn't come to Dunkin Donuts yesterday was because Jayla came to his house and he didn't want her to bother me. So, he used Duck Boy as a subsitute because he wanted us to make up. I guess they probably made up or something, I guess they're friends.
All we did was watch a movie, talk, and then I had to run home before my parents came home.

Dear Diary,

Sorry, I skipped a day of diary writing, yesterday was my suspention and I wasn't aloud to have nay pencils or anything.

I hadn't really though about it until now, but Duck Boy went to the hostpital. How did he go on a date with me..? I guess it's just another rumor. Just forget I said that. I'm such an idiot.. Anyways, I'll tell you what happened today.

As soon as I got to school kids started pestering me about the suspention, it's not like they never had it. I start my detention next week, they had to move it because of a bunch of teacher meetings or something. When I was walking to math class Rain stopped me in the hall, he said hi to me, I said hi back, then smiled and went to class. Why was he talking to me all the sudden? I knew I really didn't care, I liked it. It was awesome talking to the hottest, most popular guy in school! Jayla would be so mad at me. I'd be dead before I'd be able to go to detention next week. I've never been to detention and I'm actually kind of anxious to see what it's like.
At lunch Rain sat by us again! And so did two of the jocks and Duck Boy! This was crazy, unbelivable. Would we be more than the stupid nerd herd? Well, that's what's going on diary.. Hopefully things will turn towards the better, not the worse, like they usually do.

Over the weekend I was litterally locked in my room without anything! I was left to starve. I'm so hungry.. Oh no! Mom's coming, I have to go! Tell you what happens tomorrow! c:
