Nothing new, really.
Earth always seems to be under some sort of threat, whether its inhabitants are aware of that fact or not. This time, the danger remains unknown, as to what it is, or the existence. But its there. Definitely there. And even if he doesn't know what he's stopping, the Doctor will fix it.
Because that's what he does. He saves people. Because that's what he was brought into existence for.
No other reason.. no other reason at all, unlike those lucky humans.. they were born to love and hate, born to solve and think..
He was just born to save...a very, very long time ago. Very.
Maybe he isn't as happy as he plays off. Maybe that's why he always tries to have a companion, even if they're annoying and bossy.
Because a lonely Time Lord is just that..
Lonely..

But enough about emotions.. enough about feelings.
There's a world to save, and there's a definite need for help in doing so.
And if no one helps, the Earth will find itself shattering.

Lyme is very hyper and bright. She is capable of making anyone happy if she really wants to, but she usually just sticks to more selfish reasons for using her charm. She was the one person who was able to create a fine line between merciless and compassionate. Her self esteem is very, very low, and she is extremely sensitive towards being insulted, but this sensitivity will rarely show itself, and she will cover her hurt with harsh words. She isn't easily scared, though if she is genuinely scared, she will latch onto whoever is closest and refuse with to let go with all of her might. In general, she's a relatively nice person to be around, but not exactly the sort one would make into a best friend or lover.
This relatively happy personality becomes void when the demon she refers to as 'company' rears its head.
Description:
She is five feet and five inches tall, so not too short or tall. Lyme has hair that is a blazing white and tipped with lime green. The white color may or may not be natural, but is presumed by most to be bleached. She weighs one hundred and ten pounds, meaning that she is slightly underweight, but only because of genetic reasons. She has eyes that are neon yellow because of contacts that she wears. In reality, they are a pale blue shade. She lacks much of a tan, fearing that it would completely mess up having white hair. Lyme is obsessive about dental hygiene for some reason, and spends an average of one hour a week on her teeth. She wears somewhat average clothes, which is surprising due to her personality.

William is relatively nice to be around, and has a sweet demeanor. Despite this, he is a very nerdy sort of person, preferring to talk about logical things. He refuses to accept nonsense. He'll search until he comes up with a logical answer for very non scientific things, and even if the answer is wrong, he will take it to be true because he has a need to everything to be understandable. He doesn't enjoy the company of: Gallifreyans, hippies, Kentuckians, or particularly superstitious people.
Description:
He has light blonde hair and blue eyes. His height is relatively average, at exactly six feet. Judging by his personality, one would think he would be very formally attired, while the exact opposite is true. He owns quite a collection of Legend of Zelda t-shirts and slightly ripped jeans, because he just doesn't care. William has a splash of freckles across his face.
