Hekat nudged Zanda outside, softly. She would let him explor and play with Desper. She shook out her mane silent as her blue orbs shinned.

Zanda eagerly walked outside, his ears perked at the new sounds. His small nares flared at the new smells. It was all so pristine. He giggled as he gave a small buck, starting forward quickly.

The colt flicked his ears as he nuzzled Chain's leg.

Zanda smiled back at Desper, twitching his ears as he kelt his pace even. He rounded a small clump of trees, and slid under one's branches, waiting for his dad. He tried to hide his giggles.

Hekat smiled as she looked after them, and kicked at a lump on the ground. She picked up what looked to be it's neck, and carried it from the cave, and dropped it in the forest for the meat eaters. She shook out her mane as she plodded back towards the cave
