There is a war going on between the races. It has been going on for a century now. Each one is struggling to win, but no one has the upper hand yet. The world is in under a silent seige, and most humans dont even know it. They need your help, but which side will you choose?

As you already know, there's a war going on. Humans vs. Vampires vs. Faerys. Only part of the humans know about it, the rest are oblivious. You can't trust anyone, because anyone could be against you, and then betray you. Anyone is welcome to join. The rules are:

1. There are children on this site, you should know what that means.
2. I don't enjoy swearing. a little is fine, but if you must swear a lot, use stars (EX. s*** or d***)
3. please keep the races and genders even. we can't have 20 vampires, and 2 humans.
4. drama, romance and stuff like that is encouraged, just not in too much detail
5. limit of 4 characters.
6. the setting is around chicago and milwaukee.

Human Form
Humans are the weakest of the races. Genrally, they are used as assasins or tools because they are expandable. Besides that, they are not really very active on the battlefield.

Faery Form

Faerys. Not the pretty Tinker Bell kind, the evil ones. The ones that pretend to love you, and then drown you in a pond for the fun of it. The Fey are very magically gifted. they can have wings or not. The fey are either: Winter court, Summer court, or Dark court. Their magical abilities are linked to what court they are in. LOOKS: The Fey are usually tall and thin, with exotic colored eyes. (Bright yellow, violet, ect) only the royal Fey have silver eyes. (King, queen, prince, ect...) They also live to be quite old. children stop aging from 14-24 years old and are still consitered to be children untill around 30 years of age.

Vampire Form

Vampirism is thought to be a curse. (or blessing according to some) In order to become a vampire, a faery or human must share blood with another vampire. After the transformation, the newborn looses all magical abilites it may have had. When turned, they will be locked at the age they were turned, unless if they are a child, which they will then start aging rapidly untill they look about 16 years old. Vampires do drink blood, but they only drink it when needed. (every few days for newborns, every few years for the very oldest)When first turned, their eyes will turn red for about a month, and they they will lighten to their natural color. Vampires form large covens, or they choose to roam with one or two others. They can gain a few magical abilities over the years, but mostly they depend on their savage strength and speed. They can walk in the sun without any trouble, and garlic, crosses and holy water do not bother them. Vampires are called newborns untill their eyes are not red anymore.

age: She appears to be around 19, but the only thing known about her true age is that she is somewhere in the thousands.

magical abilities?: Ash as certain abilities over shadows, having found ways to control them and even make them malevolent. She can also create almost electrical sparks from her fingers, though they are always black and generally mean she is controlling a shadow. If you ever find that you have two shadows, be very afraid.
personality: Ash has been lied to enough that she has completely stopped trusting anyone around her. She rarely lets anyone know much about her and usually sticks to herself. However, she is something to be feared on the battlefield. She will fight to the death no matter the costs, even if it means resorting to methods that aren't exactly fair. She can be quite cruel, even if you have never done anything to her, and will usually lie to get what she wants. She also tends to flaunt what she has, so trusting her is never intelligent.
history: Nothing is actually known about her history, as she refuses to tell a soul. However, it is generally assumed that she had been broken and lied to in her time, as she can't seem to let anyone into her heart.
discription: Ash looks almost exactly like the picture, except her eyes are a darker purple. She is incredibly pale and her hair is jet-black. Her expression is almost always empty, though sometimes it can be incredibly angry, it just depends on what is happening at that time. All of the shown piercings are correct, but she also has her ears pierced, along with a bar in her cartilage. Her bellybutton is also pierced. She almost always wears black and most of her clothes are revealing, as she loves showing off her tattoos. She has one tattoo that starts on the palm of her left hand as a rose, the vine wrapping up around her arm, down around her torso, and down around her right leg, ending in another full rose bloom. The vine is covered with thorns and a few unopened rose buds, however some of them appear to be on fire and melting.

age: She appears to be around 18, but no one really knows her true age.

magical abilities?: It is well known that she has some, but she refuses to make them known unless it is a life or death situation.
personality: Vira is very hot and cold about everything. She is cold and cruel to people, and she is generally a user. She is someone to watch out for, as she is almost perfectly a typical faerie. She will seduce her enemies and get them to trust her, but she has a tendency of pushing them off of bridges and things... She is an excellent fighter, but not so great at social situations.
history: Her history isn't actually known, as she won't speak of it to anyone, not even those she toys with.

Sara sat on the edge of a taller building, thinking. She could see the park from here, and the girl sitting alone on the bench. "Probably one of the Fey" she muttered, looking a away.

She stood with her feet in the tiny pond. The tiny fireflys buzzed around the surface of the water, their lights shining softly. somewhere, a fish jumped. obviosly not liking her presence.

Jace
He smiled, slinking along the wall of the alley. The homeless person was oblivios to him, going along with his buisness of spreading out a blanket. It had been a year or so since he fed last. This pointless war kept him buisy.

Sara sighed, and got up. Wind rattled the fire escape as she climbed down, the rusty bars not liking the weight. she hoped it didn't fall. Fall was coming, and soon the weather would get colder. Jumping the last few feet to the ground, she walked back to her apartment downtown. School had just gotten out, and the yellow school buses clunked down the pot-hole ridden streets. Luckily she had graduated from high school that previous year, a year early. Sara had skipped a grade, due to the fact she was doing math that people 3 years older than her found difficult.
