"Blaine, I get that you and Kurt are deeply in love, but you don't have to spend every second in bed. What's more important to you, 'being intimate' with your boyfriend, or saving your brother's life?" Ethan asked seriously, blue eyes as cold as chips of ice.

Shane bit his lip and nodded in response. "You're right..." he croaked, arm wrapped tightly around the unresponsive Shane. He could feel the shivers run through Shane's body. Walking in Windsor, he smiled sadly at Kurt. "Here, take him to our room, please" He asked Ethan, handing Shane to him. He ran over to Kurt and embraced him tightly, whispering to him comfortingly. Reed was Kurt's friend too. He had known him longer.

Shane fell into Ethan's arms numbly, expression blank. He stood himself up, glaring at the floor with a stare that could melt glass. Of course he was pissed, why wouldn't he be? He was going to be babysat? He snorted in disgust, tensing up. He didn't need to be watched. He just wanted to be alone. Alone with his horrible, horrible self.

Ethan looked at Shane and, just to really annoy him, pushed him on the ground. He then proceeded to grab Shane's feet and drag him up the stairs, every once in a while muttering a sarcastic "Sorry," or "My bad," or "That looked painful." Ethan knew full well that he was just making the situation worse, but that's what he did. He dropped Shane's legs as soon as they reached the top of the stairs, "We're going to need to out an electric collar on you, won't we?" he asked, more to himself than Shane.

Shane made no expression of pain, other than the occasional shocked grimace. He lie on the floor staring at the ceiling, unresponsive. He let a small tear of pain slip out, as a bruise formed on his head. He swallowed hard, adam's apple bobbing. He could feel the tears building in his throat, and he struggled to contain them, eyes welling up. He was freaking miserable, cut up, and even damn suicidal, and here was Ethan, being the biggest prick of the century and annoying him to no end. The boy he loved just DIED, for god's sake. Why would anyone try to hurt him even more? Not like there was anything else anyone could do, however. He was dead inside. A hollow shell of who he used to be.

"There we go! Let it out! A normal reaction to pain and my being a jerk! It's just weird to paint pictures in your own blood. Crying is easier. Now, as much as I'm going to hate this," Ethan sighed and flopped on the floor next to Shane, "Just like my counselor says, 'We're going to talk about your issues, just don't blow anything up.' Ah, unfortunate how her sandwich blew up.." he tutted, "Poor thing won't go anywhere near bread anymore."

Shane swallowed his tears, sitting up and glaring at ethan defiantly. He refused to listen to anyone right now. Although he felt horrible, like he wanted to break down in sobs for the rest of his life, he REFUSED to let anyone tell him what to feel. He would decide how he felt about this, and what he let show. His eyes glinted in pain and fear, but they were narrowed and furious.

"I know that look on your face... Do you wanna punch me? You want to punch me in the face... But you won't." Ethan said, with his most irritating smirk, "Don't get all angry with me for wanting you to let your feelings out." he leaned closer to Shane and smiled evilly at him, "What are you feeling? Tell me."

"Like it should be me and not him," Shane croaked, tightening his fists into balls. He stood up, walking calmly to his room. He felt like crap. Honestly. Reed was so sweet, and he had no reason to be gone. Oh god. Shane felt the tears coming again, and heleaned his head against the wall. It should be him. Not reed. Not. Reed.

((I want to timeskip soon to a longsleeve wearing Shane- hiding even more cuts (they're all over his body by now)- on the day he decides to do it))

(Fine with dat' )

Kurt hugged him tightly. "I-I just can't beleive it..this isn't even like Reed. He's one thats smart enough to move on even if they won't forget.." he whispered quietly, tears filling his eyes again. "I'm glad you found Shane. I really am."

(Sorry, fell asleep on my keyboard XD)

((Sure. This is getting majorly depressing.))

Ethan followed Shane to his room and sat on Reed's bed, watching the taller boy closely and perfectly willing to sit there all night to make sure Shane didn't do anything stupid. Personally, he thought it was stupid that Shane was acting like he was the only one who cared about the small, clumsy boy. He was kind of like the pet of everyone in Windsor, they all loved him and protected him. Ethan sighed heavily as he realized he would never have to stop Reed from running down the stairs again. He would never go to Reed's room in the middle of the night and see him painting.
