Riversplash smiled at her kits then whispered their names."Frostwing,Featherwind,Rainstorm,Splashwillow,Hawkstar!"
Frostwing ,Rainstorm and Featherpaw bounded over."MOTHER!"they cried.

Cherrystream went out into the forest. She had figured it out, some time ago, that Hawkstar was in love with Redblaze. It broke her heart, and now that they were warriors, they could mate.

Hawkstar ran over. His mother and Goldenheart, together. "I'm sorry," he whispered to Goldenheart.

"Don't be. Just treat her well." she purred and disappeared.

Redblaze nuzzled her brother and looked up at HAwkstar. "This is the best day ever!"

Hawkstar stared after her, and realized what she ment. Cherrystream would be mad. "Hey, Redblaze? Can I ask you something?"

Cherrystream sighed. She didnt feel like hunting, so after taking in some peace and quiet, she went back to camp.

Redblaze stared at him and nodded.

"Would you be my mate?" Hawkstar blurted. There, he'd asked her. She could say yes or no.

Featherwind walked to Rainfeather."I'm a warrior!"she exclaimed.

Cherrystream was close enough to hear him. Tears filled her eyes and she ran into the forest. Suddenly hunting seemed like a pretty good idea.
