"ackhem." he said as he watched her walk into the room. She hadn't noticed his little attempt to get her attention, she merely continued to read the newspaper as she slid into her kitchen chair. "Honey. You-ah- you look a little different" he said cautiously, hoping she wouldn't be upset, for prehaps she had done this little make over on purpose. "What do you mean?" she asked, finally looking up from the hardly interesting article before her. "you-your face sweetheart. It looks different. Did you...do something new this morning?" he asked raising a curious eyebrow. "I'm afraid I have no idea what your talking about." she muttered irritatedly. He sighed and left the room for a moment before returning with a mirror. "look for yourself." he said handing her the mirror. She rolled her eyes, but none the less took it and cautiously raised it, till she could see her face. Almost instantly her jaw dropped, the reflection in the mirror was not her face, or at least she didn't believe so. Her fingers reached up cautiously, gently touching the skin, the tips running over the bone structure and outline. "this can't be right. This isn't....my face." she managed to say before putting the mirror down. She glanced up at him with confusion before staring at the mirror. She had no idea what to say. What was there to say? Then she quickly stood, that crazy gleam in her eye. "Now honey, just hold on a second, no need to get upset. I'm sure there is a reasonable..." "There IS NO explanation for this! This isn't my face!" she bellowed as she headed towards the hall. "Honey what do you plan on doing? Hold on a second!" he yelled running from the kitchen after her. "Honey wait!" he said grabbing her arm. She swiped him away, her eyes boring into him in a glance. "Do NOT touch me. I'm going out, and I am going to figure out what Is going on here!" she said confidently, knowing very well there was nothing he could say or do to change her mind. "Listen to reason. Just sit down, and we can talk about this." he attempted. "I don't want to talk about it! I want something done!" her voice held a darkness, and her eyes flickered a crimson red. He backed away slightly. She gritted her teeth before storming out the door, the oak wood braking into pieces as she slammed it shut......
