Rannix proceeded to pout slightly, displeased. Jay had turned his head away. Rannix quickly recomposed his features; thinking fast. He whisked his tail under Jay's chin as he got arranged himself so he wasn't looking over his shoulder to see the other male. He judged the distance carefully, and took a half-step forward. "Jay, please look at me." Rannix fervently hope he hadn't messed up with the distances here. If all went according to the way he had planned it, Jay would swing his muzzle back around to look at Rannix and find himself almost nose-tip to nose-tip with him. Rannix was hoping the enrapturing effect his beautiful golden eyes had in the sunset would be enough to keep Jay from jerking his head away. But if his plan for what he could do after failed, he had an idea of another way to achieve his goal.
