King John tapped his fingers impatiently against the table. It was dinner time and the maid still hadn't brought Kyle. Where were they? He was about to stand and storm out of the dining hall when the large oak doors were flung open and a distraught maid ran in, tears in her eyes. "The prince has been kidnapped!" she said breathlessly. John's eyes went wide and he felt a rush of anger, guilt, and worry run through him. "Adrianna, get to our room and stay there. The Hood will be after you next." he ordered He leaned over and gave her a kiss on the forehead and a quick but comforting hug. "It'll be alright." he said, cupping her face in his hands before he ran through the castle towards the dungeons, only to have his fears confirmed. He found Guy struggling in a cell with two dead guards by him. The two girls from the Hood were no where to be found in the crowded prison. He felt his face get hot and tears flood his eyes. "YOU!" he shouted at Guy, opening the cell door and kicking Guy in the side. "HOW COULD YOU LET THEM GET AWAY? THEY KIDNAPPED MY SON YOU USELESS B*****D!" He had tears streaming down his face and was punching Guy with every other word. He harshly took off the gag and stormed out. "FIND HIM!" he shrieked and started towards the stables.
Guy lay there for a moment, his vision blurry and his face hurting like heck from the blows John had inflicted on him. After a moment when his head finally cleared he slowly got up and followed King John to the stables, only to find the King's horse already out of the stable. Guy couldn't see out of his left eye, for it was swollen shut, but he tacked up his horse as fast as he could. He knew he was in serious trouble. How could he have been so stupid to fall for Arrowin's dead girl act?

(( Oops. Well, okay, I'll just roll with it. ))
Chris was utterly astounded and hesitated where he was, watching Arowin's back as she climbed into the wagon, and feeling himself start to shiver as he stood still in the snow. Frank didn't pay much attention to him, Emerald was somewhere in the wagon, and the Prince and Rebecca looked ridiculous in their gypsy disquises. Then Chris saw Sam, and he felt fear and anger boil inside him, anger because he wanted to kill him desperately, but fear not because he had been tortured but because he had listened to Sam's words and caused most of this. Suddenly he wished he hadn't come. He backed away slowly and then turned and began to run, feet pounding softly against the packed ice. Arowin was just as hurt as she had always been. There was no going back now- he wasn't needed to save the Hood, and there was no place for him left in it's ranks.
Prince Stephan paid no attention to the others when he saw the bundle in Arowin's arms. His mouth fell open and before he realized what he was doing he lunged for the baby, nearly tripping over the crowded supplies in the wagon. He stood face-to-face with Arowin and scanned her face in shock. "What are you going to do with him?!" he screeched, feeling protective over his baby cousin. Arowin had gone too far this time.
Sam put his head in his hands.
Who are you to claim you're misunderstood?

At the sound of the scream from Prince Stephan, Emerald had once again awoken from her pained, involintary slumber. Kinda hard to stay passed out when you're in a gypsy cart full of outlaws. She sighed, wincing as she did so, and scanned her surroundings, trying to see if she could put together the puzzle pieces. She thought she saw a familiar figure running away from them, but she ignored it as she thought it was just the loss of blood playing tricks on her. She looked over at the Prince and Arrowin, her troubled eyes bulging from her head when she realized what the bundle was. She soon closed her eyes again, her head spinning and her stomach queasy. What had Arrowin done? And where was Envy? And Guy? And Chris? So many questions spun through her head it was impossible for her to count them all. It made her head hurt worse then before, also causing the diagnol cut over her left eye to throb. When she finally opened them again, her beathing was steady but shallow. 'We're all going to h*ll' she thought tiredly

Frank had his head in his hands as he sat next to Arrowin in thee cart, glancing at the bundle and strring slightly at Emeralds words "I dont think they have a place for people like us" he chuckled, rubbing his brow and handing her a piece of cloth "Keep it on your cut" he murmered, his blue eyes scanning her face and then to everyone elses.

"Maybe so." Emerald replied, her shakey voice barely a whisper. She always knew she wouldn't end up some place nice, but she hadn't meant to drag others down with her. Tears filled her eyes again as she remembered the painful lies Guy had forced into her brain, though now they didn't seem like lies to her. She slowly moved her arm up, gritting her teeth to fight back the sobs crawling up her throat. The pain in her arm flared up as she grabbed the cloth and looked it over for a moment. "Which one?" she asked, trying to smirk and turn it into a joke but it didn't really work. She ended up grimacing and trying to hide the tears that streamed down her face.

Emerald managed a smile and a small, painful laugh through her tears. The smile soon faded though. "I think so too." she whispered. "The only time I amuse people is when they get to torture me." she said, only half joking. Most of the people she came in contact with she stole from, beat up, or somehow wronged them. The only peasants that enjoyed her were the ones trying to help her before she met up with The Hood. The laughing and being awake had taken a lot out of her, even though it was only a small action, and she felt light headed. Her eyes briefly flickered over Arrowin and the bundle again. "So is that bundle really what I think it is?" she asked, her eyes getting a frightened look to them.

Arowin nodded. She glared at Sam. "Raise him as one of us." she replied simply. The others didn't seem to understand her plan so she turned to Em. "We shall raise the child and when he is old enough he will take the throne." she said. The cart stopped and rebecca opened the side. Arowin remembered Chris running off and a tear slipped down her face. "m this will proberly be the end of The Hood. At least for now." she said.
"We're here." she said and looked around the abandoned castle yard. She let the horses loose and then called them over to the stables.
