Rain carried on grazing, her ears still plastered to her skull. She was still very agitated, unable to concentrate. Still hidden, she picked at the grass between her hooves, snorting. After a moment, she started to pace, keeping one ear pointed at the rest of the herd.

Apocalypse's Parousia

Parousia looked around for Rain with an undertone of panic in his step. His eyes flashed around in a doe-eyed expression until he caught a glimpse of her a bit aways. He didn't dare approach since she seemed irritated of sorts. He lowered his head in remorse thinking he was the cause. He cleared his throat and whinnied to her, trying to sound as normal as possible, even if his melancholy cry rang out from his throat so clearly.

Rain lifted her head, and something in her eyes relaxed. She cautiously trotted over. "Are you okay?" The mare asked gently, stopping a step away. Her eyes roved over Parousia's face, unhappily noting the sadness there.

Parousia nodded and tried to clear his expression with little success. "I was afraid my little outburst back there had hurt you. Did it? If it did, I'm sorry. I was just frustrated with Rai."

"No." Rain replied quietly. "Just hearing your anger and sadness unsettled me." She said, stepping forwards and tentatively nuzzling Parousia.

Parousia sighed in relief and nuzzled her happily. "I'm glad. Don't worry love, it was just a moment. I am very much over it now," he said scuffing his back hooves to prove his point. He was a bit surprised. He really was over it. All that anxiety wasn't worth it. He was free to be happy again.

Rain eyed him suspiciously, then relaxed. "Okay." She murmured, nuzzling him vigorously. "She left the best stallion." Rain said, having an odd sort of pride in knowing what she said to be true.

Apocalypse's Parousia

Parousia blushed deeper than he usually did in a situation of flattery. He always did take Rain's opinions very seriously, especially with her as lead mare. He playfully tugged her mane softly and smiled, "you just might be a little biased on that one, my dear" he said with a wink.

Rain snorted delicately. "You aren't the first stallion I've met or been in a herd with," she smiled. "So I'm quite sure I'm not being biased." She stated, flicking her ears.
