"It was a something my parents told me as a foal that I had forgotten until now. He is the fastest horse in the world ever to exist. An immortal being basically considered like a god. His father is Poseidon making him related to Pegasus. the myths on the flying white horse. This is why she's so skittish to males. Maybe she's his daughter."

Cavalia chuckled softly. "If she is related to Pegasus then we might have a common ancestor."

Shady's eyes widened and her eyebrows shot up. "You're related to Pegasus!?" she said trying to keep her voice down so Pan wouldn't hear.

Cavalia nodded. "Through his daughter. I don't like talking about that side of my family though. Most from that side turned out to be killers of some sort."

Shady nodded and shut her mouth for a few minutes. "I see. Well, it's up to you whether or not you should pursue her," she said then whispered into his ear, "I think she's good for you."

Cavalia nodded slowly. He flinched at her last sentence. "Dahlia is good for me too but she hasn't said anything to me for months." His eyes saddened. He glanced at Pan. "Besides I don't think she'll be staying. I don't know for sure but if she's anything like Pegasus' two daughter she'll be very flighty."

Shady nodded sadly. "Don't worry about it too much Cavalia. She probably hasn't been herself lately. As for Pan, maybe but you won't know unitl you try."

Cavalia sighed and nodded. He walked over to Pan. "I hear we might have a common ancestor."

She finished grazing and looked up at Cavalia with a confused expression for a moment until it dawned on her. Probably his mare explained what she saw and they put two-and-two together. "Really now?" she said with a bit of interest.
