Kia walked down the halls, her hand pressed to the back of her head, on the way to the nurse.This is what happened:

Kia sat in social studies class, her chin resting on the palm of her hand. Mr.Jones was telling them about a test that was coming up. Kia then backed up chair up and someones foot was behind it. The chair fell backwards with a enormous crash and Kia hit her head on the floor. A burst of pain blossomed at the back of her head, she groaned in pain. "Kia are you alright!?" asked Mr. Jones rushing over. "Of course not!" she snapped, sitting up. Everybody was looking at her, "Go to the nurse..." said Mr.Jones, looking worried.

On her way to the nurse she heard yelling, she looked around a corner and saw Jay & Julie glaring at each other. "I don't get whats wrong!" she said. "What!? You don't get whats wrong?! Your flirting with other guys, that's whats wrong, I saw you kissing Dave! I heard you tell him you love him! I'm your boyfriend! Not him." He yelled, getting angrier by the second. Julie scowled at him, "Your so over-sensitive, do you really think meant what i said?" He scowled back "whatever...." he muttered and walked away. Julie stood there, hands clenched into fists, and a tear rolling down face. Kia watched wide-eyed, then she hurried to the nurse before Julie saw her.

Kia woke up the next morning and blinked sleepily. Saturday.... finally........... She stretched and rolled over.... she gave a yelp of surprise as she fell on the floor. "Ow...." Kia stood up and stretched again. She looked outside, it was dawn, "I think I'll go for a hunt..." she murmured with a smile. Kia wrote a note to her parents,

Hey mom, Hey dad, going for walk, I'll be back in about an hour....
luv ya! <3

Kia ran outside, breathing in the fresh air. Then she crept into the forest, stepping quietly along. She looked behind her, the house was out of sight. She smiled and morphed into a wolf. She threw her head back and howled, as soon as Kia finished she darted threw the trees and ran till she reached the cliff. She scanned the rocky cliff side until she spotted a narrow path leading to the ground. Kia began to step lightly along the path, always feeling for loose spots where she might fall. Pebbles tumbled down the path as she skidded a few feet, with a yelp. Her heart was thumping and her eyes we're wide, she closed them and let out a deep breath. "Almost there.............."

Kia leaped onto the soft, green grass. A few birds sang as Kia walked up to a small stream to drink, it was the freshest water she had ever tasted. She licked her lips when she finished and looked around. A blue butterfly fluttered past her nose, Kia watched as it landed on a buttercup and began to drink nectar. She smiled and watched it fly away. Then she scented a mouth-watering smell, "rabbit..." she breathed . She followed her nose until she spotted a rabbit nibbling delicately on a piece of grass. She immediately crouched down, and began to slowly creep towards it with hushed paw steps. The rabbits ears suddenly perked up and it darted away, I couldn't have startled it.... then what did? Kia chased after it without another thought. She sped across the grass, keeping her eyes on the fluffy, white rabbit tail. Then, all of a sudden, a pale brown she-wolf with pale golden streaks burst out out of the bushes and joined in the chase. "Hey! this is my hunt!" snarled Kia, shoving the other wolf. "I saw the rabbit first!" growled the she-wolf. Kia ran ahead and caught up to the rabbit, she snapped at its legs, throwing it off balance. It tumbled forward and Kia killed it quickly with a bite to the throat. "Thanks for catching it for me, now hand it over." snarled a voice from behind her. Kia whipped around to see the pale brown she-wolf growling at her. "I caught it, I'm keeping it." But the she-wolf's stare turned from hostility to surprise. "your a were-wolf!" she gasped

This is GREAT!!!!!!! I'm writing a book too, similar to this in the case of the girl can turn into a wolf, but everything is different. I voted it's great - but just so you know, I want to change it to the top vote! it's awesome!

Kia drew back in surprise, "how do you know?" she gasped. The she-wolf motioned to Kia's left shoulder, "You have the were-wolf sign" she said matter-of-factly. Kia craned her neck and looked at her shoulder where there was a white symbol of a wolf howling. "I-I... I thought it was a birth mark." Whispered Kia. "nope, all were-wolves have it, and in human form its on their wrist." Answered the she-wolf. Kia glanced at the wolf's shoulder and saw the same marking but in a pale golden color. Her eyes widened, "Your a were-wolf too!" she exclaimed. The wolf nodded, "I'm Dara by the way." she sweeped her golden tipped tail along the grass and took a bite out of the rabbit. "and you are?" she mumbled "Oh! I'm Kia, and don't you go to my school?" Dara nodded, "Now I remember, you hang out with Lauren."said Dara, swallowing. Kia smiled, "Yeah," Kia leaned forward and ripped off a chunk of rabbit. Dara lowered her voice. "Does she know your a were-wolf?" Kia looked up and swallowed, "Yeah." Dara lowered her gaze, "I told my parents one day," she began "when they realized I was a freak they left me at an orphanage. They were scared i would turn on them, I cried so much so much when they said they were giving me away. I never told anyone since then..." Dara let a tear roll down her cheek. "Thats terrible!" Cried Kia, She pressed her muzzle to Dara's shoulder trying to comfort her.
