Lance then heard the mare's voice, soft and friendly, yet it has a slight edge to it. Shear... Wonderful name. He thought to himself. He was sure that this mare was okay to talk to, no threat detected. "Why, hello there. My name is Lance." He spoke, his voice deep, yet friendly and calm.

Shear swished her tail. "Nice to meet you, Lance." She said, becomeing more secure.

Lance slowly stepped forawrd, closer now, knowing that she was no threat to him, nor was he to her. "I would have to say the same to you." He spoke, the wind sailing through his ears. "So, why are you here all alone?" He asked the mare, looking around and not seeing anyone with her.
