Frank lunged forward, dragging the guards with him "Emerald, its going to be okay!" he called back hearing her voice as he gasped for breath a large smile tugging at the edge of his mouth as if he was part of a huge game.

Emerald gave another tug on the chains before they snapped her back against the wall, causing her to loose her footing. She hung there by her arms for a moment, feeling a searing pain in her sides from the wounds. Her mouth gaped open in a soundless scream before she tugged herself back up. Panting slightly she looked up at Frank again, smiling back a little and nodded. "I trust you." she mouthed to him.

Frank smirked as he was yanked back against the wall, the guards panting now, their heavy armour weighing them down and he knew it wasnt long until one of them would give way and he could get to Emerald. He rested his head against the wall and smirked, wiping his mouth on his shoulder getting rid of the blood.

Emerald let herself fall back against the wall. Her breaths were short and ragged, her face pained, physically and emotionally, but still able to hold on to the last bit of fight left in her as Guy walked in. He scowled when he saw he had not fully gotten through. Time to get right to it, and this time without Frank to build her up. "Take him away." he said to the guards as he walked past.

Frank roared "No!" he screamed as he pulled himself forward again, the guards heels skiding as they tried to stop him. His veins buldged as his whole body tensed before there was a realese. One of the guards had fallen over and Frank had charged forward, jumping to the floor and grabbing at Guys leg.

Guy growled and kicked Frank in the face, trying to make him let go. He ignored Emerald's silent screams and tugs on the chains. He jumped around, kicking at Frank and yelling at the guards to get Frank under control. "You fool! Are you trying to make me fall and break my face?" he bellowed.

Arowin had been chained to the corner of the room. The guards had paied her no attention and nor had Emerald, Frank or Guy. She was in the shadows behind the wall. She slipped the cuffs off and grabbed a barbed arrow and bow. She sloted an arrow into the bow, took a deep breath and turned the corner. She shot the two guards holding Frank through their chests with the one arrow. She then shot Guy twice, once in the arm and then in the leg. Her eyes where narrowed in pure rage and anger from Guy's taunting and torture. She then rushed forward, grabbing the keys off one of the dead guards and then quickly freeing Emerald. She rushed to Guy, pinned him down and punched him so that he blacked out. "Frank, put the bodies and Guy in a cell and gag Guy." she said and then rushed back to Emerald and hugged her. "Shh its ok." she whispered.

For Emerald, everything was a blur. Partially because her vision was blurring and partially because right now she a little mentally derranged. She collapsed into Arrowin's arms and tried to hug back but she could hardly move. She sobbed, her tears soaking through a spot on Arrowin's shirt. With each shake of her shoulders and gasp for air her body seared with pain, making her want to pass out. Through the tears, her pounding head, and now blood from the cut over her eye made her not able to see at all. She was enclosed into darkness and she didn't want to come out.

Frank screamed in pain as Guys foot connected with his face, he recoiled back, letting go of Guy and clutched his nose. After a minute or so he heard two thuds behind him and another infront, the guards where down and so was Guy. Frank froze looking to Emerald and realizing Arrowin had gotten free, he stumbled to his feet, keeping an eye on Guys motionless body. Frank did as Arrowin said, his mind twirling with the thoughts of killing Guy there and now but Emeralds sobs stopped him. He walked over to the girls, wiping his beaten face with his sleeve "You okay?...." he stuttered.

Emerald gasped for air as she sobbed, opening her eyes briefly to glance up at Frank. They said it all, no. She closed them again tightly, trying to keep the blood from her cut from stinging her eye.Guy's shouts kept replaying in her mind, the guilt and doubt becoming more and more permanent. The familiar emptiness she felt when Casper died came back a million times worse and hit her like freight train as she thought of him and the Hood. She soon felt like she couldn't breath, and even though she was being held by Arrowin she started to sway a little. "All my fault." she tried to say but her words were uncomprehendable.
