Silvertear shook her head. "A clan named Deathclan had taken control of Mapleclan. So I don't know who I was battling." She said quiety, looking at Berrygaze, her eyes tired.

"Oh dear..." Berrygaze's eyes looked worried... "Maybe Brackenstar shouldn't of taken that patrol... They must already be battling for their territory with DeathClan... I wonder if that she-cat who came here asking if she could share land with us is the leader of DeathClan..?"

Silvertear shrugged wearily, not responding. She closed her eyes, wincing every now and then as Berrygaze worked on her wounds.

Berrygaze padded up to Brackenstar he just shook his head and padded into his den.

Silvertear stood with a grunt, blinking her eyes tiredly. She looked around, and padded slowly to the fresh kill pile, her muscles aching with each pawstep.
