Sorry to double post, but does anyone know if mycoplasmosis can affect humans cats or birds? I'm trying to find the answer out online, but it's getting hard... o.O

Cloudsong, I looked it up. I couldn't find anything completely useful, but it says it's extremely contagious, cats can give it to humans, it's similar to cat scratch fever, and that it can also come from baby rats. Cats can give mycoplasmosis to birds, and from what I read, it SEEMS that it can spread through just about any other domesticated animal. Hope I helped!-nightlock

No it won't pass to anything else.

Regarding Zeus and his eye, might be worth taking him for eye drops. Could you get a picture?

Sure! My camera is dying but I'll try to get a picture. I'll edit this post later with the picture of Zeus's eye.

Cats can have mycoplasmosis. They are often the ones who pass it on to humans.
Rats carry Mycoplasma pulmonis.
