I'm not sure there's a good place to post this in general. But apparently Hospice went to my folks home tonight and my mom has five days at the most they say. I'm still debating going to work but for most part I'm still partially shocked by the news. Though I'm hoping her stubbornness will pull her through, its already been a rough few years on her. We don't think she's going to pull out of this one.

Mine is more of a rant.
Apparently a hospice has given my mother five days to live. If that is true, five days I won't have the woman that gave me birth to me to talk to. She won't ever get to see my wedding; she won't ever see me go to college or become an artist. I won't be able to call her up in the holidays if I forgot how long to cook the turkey for. She won't ever see my first child or any child of mine. I won't see her at christmas or the holidays period. I won't be able to show her all the things I've learned as a young adult living on my own. I won't be able to show her I finally stopped biting my nails. I'll miss her art critique. Who else will challenge me to go to college for art when all I want to do is give up?

My heart goes out for you. Losing someone close to you is never easy, whether it be a grandparent or a mother. Best of luck to you and your family.
