It's different every time, but usually theres new stuff released every day or every other day.
I would advise you to save your tokens and then spend them when everything is released, so you can stock up accordingly :3
Although I would be a hypocrite saying that
Because I always get excited and get a lot of something if it looks cool P:

^I started at Halloween time last year and I think there ended up being like 10-15 pets by the end? My memory's bad though.

OMG SO EXCIIIIITED!! I started almost an hour late because I was stuck doing homework, but OMG. Great early birthday present!! I was thinking it would start soon, because it's the middle of October.
