Daniel looked over to the girl, Holli, and gave her a small nod. "Daniel." He said simply to her, slouching a bit in his seat. He put his elbow on the edge of the desk, and put his chin in his palm.

[Dia.]

Holli narrowed her eyes slightly, unamused by Daniel's simple reply. "So.... do you play any sports?" She rested her head on her palm. "You look like someone who might."

Daniel shifted slightly in his seat so that he could face Holli. "I play baseball." He said with a slight nod. Oh, big shocker. He thought in his head. Any time he told someone about how he played baseball, they were taken aback. Or they would laugh and think that he's joking.

[Dia.]

Holli smiled and reached out to touch his desk with her hand. "Wow!" She blinked and tucked a bit of stray hair behind her ear. "That's awesome. How long have you played?"

Daniel shrugged like it was no big deal. "Three years. Not that long." He said with a nonchalant wave of his hand. He used his hand to brush his hair to the side.

[Dia.]

Holli bit her bottom lip slightly and blinked. "That's cool. Do you think you are any good? And dont be humble." She smiled.

Daniel thought for a moment. Was he any good? Probably not if he was compared to the longer-playing guys. "Uhm... Depends." He said after a few minutes, shrugging slightly and turning to look at Holli.

Holli Mae Baxter

Holli tilted her head, "Really? Do you play a lot? She turned her body so she was facing Daniel and she crossed her legs in the aisle.

Daniel thought for a moment. "I practice most days of the week, and games are every weekend unless something happens." He told her, wondering where the teacher was. He shrugged to himself. It didn't bother him if the teacher was here or not!

Holli Mae Baxter

Holli smiled and nodded as he spoke. "It's awesome that you are so dedicated." She too looked around the room, wondering where the teacher was, but said nothing. History was dull and she'd much rather talk to Daniel than learn about what happened in the past.
