((Oh, and this is me reposting a new and updated form for ingo. I wasn't entirely happy with the old one as I did it ages ago.
Wildmagic, I wanted to say thanks for keeping this RP alive, it was my first ever RP and I've grown quite attached :3 ))

Personality: Ingo tends to be a kind, sometimes shy, but overall obliging and complaint. She tends to listen and do what others need her to do, but will never lose her opinion. She can be secretive, but getting onto the pirate ship means she wears her heart on her sleeve a lot more. The experience has changed her very much, but she still remains a gentle character, loving and smiling, but apprehensive for the safety of others, and not very confident in herself.
Description [detailed] or picture: Ingo’s a slim-bodied, average-height girl. There doesn’t seem to be any exceeding beauty about her, but she quite pretty. Her smooth, lightly tanned, inverted-triangle shaped face, straight nose, lime eyes and cocoa freckles do not add up to beautiful features, but certainly she has a youthful attraction about her. Her hair is short cut, untidy, slightly scruffy and falling just to the bottom of her neck, a dusty brown colour highlighted from the seasalt and the sun.
History: Ingo’s life has all been a bit of jumble up until now. Nothing is known of her parents, as she was abandoned at a young age, being accepted in few places and by the age of four trying to survive on her own on the streets. She was accepted by a kindly woman, who helped until she was of an age to live, on the streets on her own, scavenging for food, living not much better a life than a rat. Eventually though, on her quest to find her missing love, Williams Parkings, she joined The Maiden. The adventures have lead her to many places, and led her out of love, but she is no closer to uncovering her history or her family.

Crush: Unknown…
Strengths: She’s a skilled carpenter, though she doesn’t tend to show it, and is very good at climbing, stealing and most usually hiding.
Weaknesses: Controlling her emotions, she often gets sad over the pain of others, and finds it hard to remain clear-headed. This fault will soon be overcome as she realises her place as first mate. She is not terribly brilliant at shooting, and her aim is not exceedingly good either.
Likes and dislikes: Likes : Children, Wood-carving, Pirates (That’s kind of obvious though) Dislikes : The Navy (Once again, slightly obvious), Sewing, or being a girly girl, Dresses and disguises, she’d rather be herself as she isn’t afraid of being caught.

Cathrin smiled tightly, then let go of Betty's hand and glanced over at the woman lying unconscious on the cot. "If you ever tire of being a pirate, miss Lincoln, we'd surely like to have you here. We need medics, especially now, with the famines and riots."

Liam got to his feet, pulling on his now-dry tunic and trying to sneak past Betty and the medic. The older woman reached out without looking and smacked the back of his hand, then grabbed his wrist and turned to face him. "Where do you think you're going?" "I need to... talk to somebody," he replied, nervously. Medics always made him uncomfortable, mostly because they could kill you and nobody would ever know. She eyed him suspiciously for a moment, and then said, "I want you back here by sundown. You're not well, and I intend to fix that. I can't do so if you're out till all hours of the night." She let go of his hand and let him pass. As soon as he was in the hallway, Liam breathed a sigh of relief and headed for the front door. Opening it, he saw Ingo sitting on a bench across the muddy dirt street, and Sonja leaning up against the wall next to her. Rodney was there, too, wandering about.

((Thanks c; That description of Rodney made me laugh. "Rodney was there, too, wandering about." It makes him sound like some extra, exactly how Rodney really is XD ))

"Aye, I'll keep it in mind, but right now me heart's set with the sea," she smield gently, she still wasn't technically a pirate, she's forced herself into the crew, having been a stowaway for so long, but found herself welcomed and like, it was curious for her, being liked, but she seeme dto enjoy the sensation fo it. She like dbeing useful too, and she enjoyed it here, she could be useful.

Ingo rolled back her tired shoulders, feeling relieved of a burden that had been tying her down for so long, she didn't know what it was, but Sonja's words always seemed to affect her, comfort her, empower her. She fekllt stronger with this crew, and she knew, now, that she could become an even stronger person. She was, as had been so rightly stated, First Mate of the ship. She had to keep a cool-head and not let her emotions overpower her. She would be better from now on, much better.

Rodney drifted like a neglected puppy, sometimes sitting, sometimes standing, not reallly getting in the way, but looking indecisive about something. No-one was paying much attention to the boy.

["Everybody- oh, and Rodney." I kind of feel bad putting it like that, but- yeah. XD]

"Well, look who's up and about." Sonja nudged Ingo gently with one elbow and pointed, to where Liam was standing nervously in front of the infirmary. He was looking across the muddy street like he wasn't quite sure what to do, an expression that looked quite funny on a man a head taller than Sonja and twice as thickly built. Laughing, the navigator stood up and hauled Ingo to her feet, pushing her gently towards the road. "Go on," she said. "Me an' Rodney will find the rest of the crew in the market an' help them with supplies."

Rodney heard his name and trotted to Sonja's side. He waved a little at Liam and smiled , then looked back up at Sonja, wonderign where they were off to.

Ingo's head swivelled round from Sonja to see Liam. A smile rose to her face, an attractive look for the young woman who so often seemed to mope nowadays. her mind went a bit fuzzy as she let herself be nudged around by Sonja. She nodded, only alf-heartedly listening to the other woman, then slowly walked over to the man.

Liam waved back at Rodney, then turned to watch Ingo as she walked over to him. He wasn't quite sure what to say- being a blacksmith, social interaction was not his forte. "Um-" he muttered, fumbling for words. Internally he cursed himself, but he forced himself to smile slightly. He felt his face heat up, adding a pink tinge to his dark skin.

Sonja laughed and took Rodney by the shoulders, pointing him towards the market. "This way," she said, glancing over her shoulder at the blacksmith and first mate. Then she turned back and sauntered off, wondering where she might find Melody and Emerald.

Rodney let himself be pushed along, he walked and didn't look behind him, almost sensing whathe should and shouldn't do. "I wonder where the girls are," he said, reffering to the crew-mebers, who were probably sidling up to someone for some goods or other, though Rodney didn't really know what sidling was, he was one of the most clueless ten years olds.

Ingo looked up at him, smiling, "Glad you're feeling better," she said quietly, her fingers desperately fumbling behind her back, feeling, for some unkown reason, jittery nervous, embarassed and happy all at the same time. It was a peculiar sensation. She sighe then looked up at him again, she put her arms round the black-smith in a hug, feeling awkward, but knowing it was the right thing.

The awkwardness lingered in the air for a few moments after Ingo spoke- he could feel it, and see it. It made him nervous. What was he supposed to do? And then she hugged him. He was surprised for just a second, and then he wrapped his arms around her and hugged back. "Sorry," he whispered, feeling the need to apologize to her.

"Probably in the market, bartering for supplies," replied Sonja with a casual wave of one hand. When she said 'bartering', of course, she meant distracting the shopkeeper until they practically gave away their goods, but that was beside the point. Rodney was only ten, he didn't need to know that kind of stuff.

But that was exactly the thing, though Rodney did not need to know at the age of ten, he knew quite a lot more than he should. It was hard to keep a pirate clean and with a sensible mind, and bartering was all he needed to know. "Alright," said Rodney, simply, for her didn't need to lionger on the subject. He was planning his pick-pocketing for when they arrived.

Ingo's head rested on his chest, near his shoulder. "What for?" she asked, still holding him, she was just glad he hadn't died, hadn't drowned or fell so cold. She didn't see why he was sorry, none of this was his fault, none of it at all.

"Almost dying," replied Liam, pushing Ingo gently away so that he could look into her eyes. "Forces you couldn't control killed your William. I almost let something like that happen to you again." He looked away, suddenly shy, and told the ground near Ingo's feet. "So I'm sorry. But I l-" He almost couldn't say the words. They just sounded so strange, after everything. "Love you," he finally managed to whisper.
