Coraline looked back at him as he laid his head on her side and smiled a bit, nodding a bit and closing her eyes at his words. Her mind was racing but she put a block in her mind to make sure they would not bother her in her sleep. She yawned once and curled up tighter and fell asleep quickly. The desire to move and run burned through he muscles. The habit of running on her own at night had yet to be broken... She was still getting used to him back. Coralines tail was tight against her rump, trying to keep most of the scent from filling the den. Coraline had often felt the blazing urge to have pups pop up at random times but she was trained enough to ignore it. Well, for now anyway. She would be good for a while. The running helped keep her mind off pups and off the fact that if Triant didn't want pups... There were other ways of getting them.

-Next Day-

Triant opened his amber eyes slowly, they needed to adjust before he even thought about opening them wider. The brute yawned and strecthed out feeling energetic and ready to head home. Triant opened his eyes alittle more and looked around the den as sunlight glowed through it, Coraline was still asleep and he licked her head. Before they would leave he went to catch breakfast, being outside of the den felt much better then the smel of the den, the pine trees blew away every trace of a female but he wasn't surprised to see a loner crouched in the grass. The brute raised his hackles and snarled so the loner would back away, he seemed reluctant to go but he did anyway and Triant was again able to focus on food. He padded towards a prey scent to the west and lowered into his crouch as he came over the rise, elk migrating to the winter grazing grounds slowly trekked along the snow calling to one another. Triant licked his lips and prowled forward

Karin

After a while Karin had collected a little pile of herbs and two ducks that were being cautious. Hopefully that would be enough for now and the hurt would pick some herbs and eat something. On the way back into the forest, Karin suddenly stopped. The wound on her back hurt so she started to lick it. Surely she would keep some scares but that was the least she could do for her pack. At least she wasn't fully useless. She wanted to prove herself worthy again, even if it would take years.

Coraline
Coraline lifted her head a bit as Triant left, lowering it again to keep sleeping. She wasn't sure how long she had slept but she felt someone tower over her and a new scent fill the den. She opened her eyes to look up at a male who was standing over and snarling, pawing at her hips with his back paws, a clear sign he wasn't here to fight but to mate. Coraline didn't stand, knowing it would only make his job easier. She didn't show aggression... She looked at him and fooled him by turning on her back, showing her stomach, which calmed him and seemed to please him, then her nails shot up and sliced along his jugular vein. Coralines claws were thin but long and sharp and they made a very deep cut. Four deep, but thin, slices were imprinted in the males throat. He seemed shocked but he wasn't bleeding at first so he let out a deep snarl, then was shocked to find that when he moved his head blood leaked out heavily. Coraline grinned as he stumbled back in shock, she stood once he was no longer over her. She began to assess this male, was he worth saving? No. He wasn't. She noticed a deformity in his back paw, it was twisted a bit. This was why he hadn't come to try and mate her with Triant around. She watched him as the blood began to drip heavily on the ground then he felt to his side, panting heavily in pain. Coraline shook her head, not saying a word. She grabbed the male by the back of the neck and pulled him into the snow, leaving him as a warning to the other loners that might come to try and mate her... She would kill them. She licked the blood off of her paw and grabbed some leaves to cover the blood the male had dropped on the ground.

Kierra opened her eyes to the bright morning sun. She yawned and let her eyes adjust. She scented the air to find out what was going on. She stood and stretched, digging her claws into the soil beneath her paws. The far snorted and set out to go hunting, not bothering to wait for anyone to go with her. She was still mad at what Sessohmaru had said ti her, and she needed to relieve her anger. "Ugh those pesky mongrels of Red Howlers. Ugh I just hate them." she grumbled to herself. She wasn't very confident that she could relieve the rage inside her, to the point where she could actually go to sleep, instead of going in the wee hours of the night, and sleeping till' almost noon time. She growled lowly as she kept walking towards the forest. The Fae was in baby heat now, and she wanted to be alone aswell.




Amira wandered through the forest, She growled and kept moving, spotting kierra, she barked a greeting, but said no more. When the Fae acknowledged her presence she nodded and kept moving. She still missed roan, but she had to move on now. No doubt she would have pups before spring, all the lone males had their eyes set on her, just because they heard she was an outcast from the Red Howlers, but none of them were good enough suitors, so she kelt them at bay, by attacking each Brute that came near her.

Triant stalked down the steep hill and into some frozen brush, they didn't even see him and the wind was blowing towards him so they couldn't smell him eitheir, good. Stalking closer and closer he zoned in on an injured doe and leapt from the bak charging after her. The herd scattered and the snow made it hard for the doe to run especially with the caos. She tripped before Triant reached her and he took her down swiftly before she could make a sound. The first time hunting in the mountains had been a disaster he had lost so many kills because of the rocky ground but now the territory was easier to manuver and he killed with ease. Lifting the neck he dragged the kill back with some diffculty because of the snow and weight but managed to get it near the den when he noticed the wolf bleeding out on the ground. "What the..." he sniffed the air and quickly plunged into the den to see Coraline safe and unharmed, "What Happned?" he snarled. He wasn't mad at her really just the fact that he was only gone a few minutes and some wolf decided to steal his mate. Great.

Karin

Karin soon lay down, huffing. She was still in the forest and it was getting dangerous for a fae to walk around injured and alone. Well, Karin had no choice however. If Triant and Cora didn't return soon and would give the pack orders they would die. Only one injured female wasn't enough to collect enough food and herbs for the whole pack. After a little rest and after licking the wounds on her back as well as trying to clean the remains of her left ear clean, she stood up and got to hunt again. As time flew by she could another rabbits and found some herbs. She was already on her way back to the camp. Hopefully nothing would happen like the times before.

Coraline looked up and said, "Easy... A male tried to get in and intimidate me... I sliced his throat then saw his back leg was deformed... " She shrugged, she went back to cleaning her blood covered paw. "You don't have to worry... This crap happened while you were gone and I did the same thing to every one... Why would I not do that now?" She asked, standing with her tail swishing smoothly behind her. She raised an eyebrow and said, "I figured putting him out in the snow would send a warning to any other males...." She shrugged and stretched.

Triant gave Coraline a look that was betwwen disbelief and confusion, she was so calm and it kinda freaked him out that she had just killed a wolf and was licking the blood off of her paw. Not that he wasn't like that on certain days but this was Coraline! A male tried to mate with her and she was calm! The brute shook his head and snorted, he looked back up at her when she mentioned the pack and snarled feeling betrayed by his fighters, he started pacing and ignored her last comment. He was growling to himself a nd scuffing the ground angriliy. After a few minutes his pacing slowed and he remembered the food that was outside, "Be better hurry, I want to be home by nightfall." he squeezed out of the den still fuming.
