Trick or Treat (Lights on, Lights off - Your Pet's Story)

Here are my Greeters [and story] for the Lights On/Off Trick or Treat Event going on

The Door opens and you see a silver cat with bright red eyes, as you look closer you see arrows in his heart with blood and... is that infected ooze? The silver cat moans and just as you are about to sidesaddle out of there, a vampire cat comes to the door. "Oh Gizmo, you're gonna scare all our trick or treaters away!" Gizmo looks at the female cat and replies "Oh NightAssassin, Its Halloween, they are suppose to be scared..." NightAssassin glares at Gizmo before turning a sweet smile back on you. "Happy Halloween Sweetie" and drops a few things into your bag.

Here is my little trick or treater Jackster

Jackster was the very essences of Halloween. He was nothing but skin and bones, and many were scared of him just because of that, but he was a forever pup, which when people did a double take noticed he was rather cute. Jackster walked with black cats following him and a little ghost as well. He wore a halo and carried a bright orange Halloween bucket. He walked up to a house with its lights on and ring or knock on the door and waited for it to open. He grinned a big boney grin and say, " Happy Halloween! Trick or Treat!"

This Was Leafs and Spooks
very first Halloween and
they were very exctied.
"Come on! We don't have
all night!" Leaf shouted
impatient at her
friend Spook who was dressing
them self up. "Chill! I'm
almost ready!" Spook
Shouted back. Leaf was
wating impatient at the
door. "Come on..." She wisperd.
"I'm comming now!" Spook saied while hurring down the stairs. "I'm Ready!" He saied. "Wow!
Awesome costume Spook!" Leafe saied. "But... Is that real blood?" "No silly!" Spook replyed giggling.
"Come, we don't want to waste our first Halloween by talking, well?" "Nope! Lets go!" Leaf replyed
happily. They stepped outside. "Wow. Many pets are Trick-or-Treating tonight" Leaf said. "Yeah"
Spook replyed. They walked down the street. All the houses were decorated with pumpkins, skeletons
and fake spider webs. But there was one house they payed extra attention to; The house at the end of
the street. The house had everything a spooky Halloween house should have: Skeletons, gravestones,
pupkins, spider webs and dead trees and even crows who acculy were real and flying around the
house.
"Wow..." Leaf and spook saied. "You go first." Leaf saied. "No you go first." Spook replyed. "After
you." "Ladies first". After they had just staied there for a while they looked up at the moon; Full
moon. "Well, we can't stop here..." Leaf began. "Nope. We have to..." Spook ended. They walked
through the scary path who led to the staire up to the door. Leaf stepped on the first step.
*squeak* *squeak*
They looked at the door;
*Nnock* *Nnock*
*Gulp* Leaf looked nervous to Spook who stood by her side.
"T-trick or Treat...?"

A few things rattled forlornly at the bottom of Desypio's basket, but the trick-or-treater herself remained unaffected by her small haul. It was just about impossible to put a damper on the young dog's mood. As she made her way down the street, her cherry-red eyes fell onto a house down at the corner. Tail wagging happily, she broke into a brisk trot, keeping her gaze trained on it the entire time as if afraid it would slip away.
Which was unfortunate, seeing as how there just happened to be a rock in her path. With a yelp, her paw slipped off the pebble and sent her careening off the sidewalk, limbs akimbo. She lay there for a moment, feeling the bruises settle in and cursing the obstacle that had sent her flying. Luckily, she hadn't lost any of her treats in the fall, but she had lost her hat a few feet away and her glasses had been knocked askew. Straightening herself out and popping the somewhat battered hat back onto her head, she walked up the pathway to the house.
Desypio did a quick assessment of her appearance before knocking at the door and calling "Trick or treat!" as it swung open and bathed her in a warm golden light.

Tailor was very excited, he trotted up the stairs and into his room. He popped open a large trunk at the foot of his bed and began to dig around. Soon clothes,toys and other random objects were being flung in all directions. His tail was wagging happily as he dug, he finally found what he was looking for there near the bottom. It was a large sheep costume, he hoped it would fit him. He grinned as he worked his way into it and it fit him perfectly "Now I can go out and have fun!". He grabbed a large pillow case to use as a sack and quickly ran downstairs and out the door, he trotted through the neighborhood glancing around at the crowds of people out. There were so many different costumes and deorations, this was going to be a great night. He stopped at the first house he saw with the lights on "Trick or Treat!", he said wagging his tail as the door opened.

Story #1

Pet Name: Meiglan (the trick-or-treat goer) and her daddy Smokey

Story:

Meiglan carefully walks up the winding path of the house at the end of the street. Stepping up the stairs she jumps as they start to creak and eerie music starts to play. Finally making it to the door, she jumps up and stretches a paw toward the bell to ring it.

Shivering with fright as the bell lets out a long low howl, Meiglan looks back over her shoulder at her daddy.


"Daddy, are you sure it's safe?" she asked.

Giving his daughter a resigned look, Smokey gave her a little nudge on her hip and growled softly to her. "It's okay Meig. Really, I'm right here with you and you have nothing to worry about. Now, see that pillar by the edge of the walk next to the street? I'll wait for you right there. I'll be watching the entire time princess." With that Smokey went to his station and watched his daughter.



'Trick or Treat?' she chimes as the door opens.

Story #2

Pet name: Ilauna and her pal Mooshy

Story:
Ilauna looked down at her favorite playmate Mooshy the daemon and asked him which house looked to be the most inviting.

"Oooo! Oooo! Oooooo! The one with the bright purple and orange lights in the window. I like that one!" he squeaked to Ilauna from the shadowy depths of the hedgerow.

"Okay! I'm going to try gliding down the street. Let out a shriek if you see anyone," said Ilauna as she took a few hopping and bouncing leaps to try and get lift for her small wings.

"YIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeee!" cried Mooshy, just as soon as Ilauna's paws left the ground.

Unable to control himself from the look of pure terror on his friends face, he broke into a chirruping giggling fit causing the bushes to shake too and fro. Upon hearing the shriek let loose by Mooshy, Ilauna looked around in terror at being caught by people seeing her actually fly. She was so very badly shaken that she just missed landing nose first into a large rose bush.

After shaking the dirt and leaves out of her fur, she started indignantly licking her feathers attempting to make sure that they were all straight. Ilauna heard Mooshy's laughter and was rather upset by it.

"Now what did you do that for?" she demanded in the haughty voice she had once heard her grandmamma use.

"I just wanted to make sure I had the right signal for you," cried Mooshy around his giggles. "Can we please go to the pretty house now? I promise to be good."

"Okay. Just no more scaring me Moosh. I don't want to have to tell mom that you are trying to be one of those bad shadow demons that she always goes on about and hunting instead of a playful daemon. That would just be horrible."

"Yeah, it would. I'm sorry Ilauna," said a very subdued Mooshy.

Deciding that it would be best if they just walked the rest of the way to the house, they were surprised to see so many other pups and kitties about in the streets racing from lighted house to lighted house.

Finally reaching the door to the house Mooshy selected, Ilauna reached for the door bell. She had heard what the other kids had been saying so she figured it must be the right thing to do. As the door opened, she wagged her tail and fluttered her wings just a little and said around a mischievous smile, "Trick or Treat~" in unison with Mooshy, who was hidden behind the pumpkin by the door.

I also have a few different pets answer the door and occasionally they will have a story as well. But I'm just posting the stories of my trick-or-treat goers. ^.^

Autumn climbed the hill to the next house. It was dark now, and it reminded him of when he found his ay out of the forest. The lightening that hit him was disfiguring, so he needed no costume. He cautiously put his basket in his mouth while he knocked on the door. "Trick or Treat!" he beamed when the door was opened.

I know it's short, but I do add bits in!

The girl had wandered around the whole of Chicken Smoothie looking for treats. She had recieved just 2 and she was getting very tired. Lola and her mother Charla walk up the steep hill to the castle. "Mom, are you sure I can be a princess for Halloween?" she moaned. Beaming down at her daughter, Charla replied, "Yes Lo..."

While her mother walked the long path to the huge splintering doors, Lola ran forward and hesitantly knocked on your door. "Trick or Treat!" she said, wide-eyed.

I got 3 trick or treaters and one door greater. Am I allowed to post them all? The trick or treaters all have one story together and Rose has 2 stories, one for giving out items and one for giving out pets.

Story: Hailey and her sister walked to the door of the next house and we're about to walk up to the house when they heard a voice yell "Wait for me!!". The girls turned and saw their sister bounding down the sidewalk with a candy bag swinging from her jaws. "Finally" Hailey muttered under her breath but Artemis seemed more excited by the arrival of her sister. "There you are! So, what you supposed to be, a princess?" She asked."That's what everybody say but clearly I'm a vampire princess!" Flaming Embers said, her words a bit muffled by the fake teeth. This was their first year of trick or treating and so far they we're having fun with their ideas of being the guardian of mystical creatures, an ice angel princess and a vampire princess. "Come on guys!" Hailey said, tapping her foot as she waited for her sister. "Sorry, but I keep on thinking I'm gonna trip over my dress!" Flaming Embers said replied. "It would've be that way if you had worn the other princess dress! Hailey said, a bit angry. "Now come on, let's get some candy!" Hailey said excitedly and ran for the door, followed by her sister. They knocked on the door and when they heard movement shouted "Trick or treat!" as loud as they could. The three girls then waited excitedly to find out what they had gotten but out off all of them Flaming Embers looked the most excited.

Story1: A dog that looked kinda like she was a tree opened the door and smiled. She looked over at a fawn sitting beside her. The fawn nodded and walked down the long hallway. She returned a few minutes later with a pet. She stepped to the side and sat back down beside the dog. "Happy Halloween!" They say together.

Story2: A dog that looked kinda like she was a tree opened the door and smiled. She reached into a box and pulled out an item. "Here take this" She said and looked over at a fawn. The fawn nodded and steped forwards. "Happy Halloween!" They say together

Story: Story #3 (Shakan)

"Hmmm," said Shakan looking out the window. "The output of candies has a telling effect and a direct correlation with the number of pets out on the street. I simply must join them."

Racing to his closet he found an old lab coat of his grandfather's. Throwing it over his shoulders he continued to rummage around and found the chemistry set that was given to him as a pup.
"This is perfect!" he cried. "Now to just find those worry beads that Gram gave me when she last came over," Shakan said to himself as he turned toward his desk. He knew they were there somewhere. "Maybe when I took them off last night I put them next to my computer," he thought. "I was studying pretty late for that exam on Monday." Searching through the papers and text books that were scattered around his desk, Shakan finally found his worry beads. "Yes! Now to put the last finishing touches on me and I can go out too."

Emerging from the disastrous wreak his room had become in his frantic search for a costume, Shakan walked down the hall to ask his mom if he could go out and get candies with the other kids. His mom gave him a bit of a sideways look at first hearing Shakan's question and then brightened when he quickly stammered, "It's for a research project."

"Sure, you can go out son. Just make sure that you take plenty of notes in this journal. That way you'll be able to analyze the data later," she said tucking the journal into Shakan's coat pocket.

"Yay! Okay wish me luck!" he hollered to his mom as he ran out the door.

At the top of the porch steps he looked up and down the street trying to figure out just which house to head to first. The big house at the end of the road looked perfect for his first stop. It had a big group of kids who were just leaving and all talking excitedly about the sweets they had just been given, pulling them out of their bags and compairing them to each other. Deciding that this must be a prime place to start, Shakan raced down the street to the long walkway of the house.
It had a wonderful and eerie feel to it. Especially with the way the music was playing and things suddenly jumping up from behind the tombstones that were scattered around in the yard. It gave Shakan a prickly and hair-raising feeling up and down his spine. He couldn't tell if it was just his anticipation of what would happen when he reached the door or if it was that he was just thrilled by the frights given by the decorations in the yard. "It must be both of them... I'll have to make sure to tell mom all about this. She'll think it's great and will let me actually go trick or treating again next year."

After having watched another group of kids walk up to the door and ring the bell and then walk back past him all aglow with smiles, Shakan took a deep breath to steel his nerves and walked up the stairs to the door. Lifting a paw to the doorbell, he gave it a quick ring and then fell back a step prancing in place with his excitement.
It seemed like forever for the door to open, but it finally did. As soon as he could see the person inside smiling down at him, Shakan looked up and barked "Trick or Treat~" and set his three tails to thumping.
