John scowled. "You can go with Sheriff. Lead the way." he said before riding off with Guy in the opposit direction with their hawk. That left Sheriff and Saya alone. It was more of a punishment to the arrogant noble though for collecting the extra taxes.

Saya shakes head before heading out.

Sheriff narrowed his eyes and sighed in annoyment. "Let's make this quick." he said flatly. "We need to find the Hood as soon as possible. Got it?"

"I am not stupid." Saya said not hiding her voice.

Sheriff chuckled. "Are you sure?" he asked sarcastically. He shook his head, a smirk still playing on his lips, and realized something was odd about this man. Something about the way he walked. It was too womanly. And the higher pitched voice. He shook his head again. No of course this farmer's boy was not a girl in disguise. It would be too risky. He shrugged and pushed the silly thoughts aside.

Saya kneels and finds tracks just settling. "They were this close?" She stands up and looks around. "They heard everything."

Ooc: Um, the Hood is way way waaaay out in the middle of the forest fighting somebody....I don't really think it's possible for them to be that close.
