Coraline shrugged at his question. "Fine..." She smiled and then looked at him as he talked about her marking. She looked up at it, almost seeming to go cross eyed in the process. "I know how you didn't notice... I was usually covered in mud or stuck in a den." And I am not usually in heat' She added on silently to herself. She knew one of the main reasons he had noticed it was because of the fact she was in heat. The smell lured males to females like bacon did to a starving dog. She smirked at the thought.

Triant sighed and was able to block out the scent by breathing through his mouth, not his nose. The brute rolled onto his back and began thinking. "It's odd really, all these wolves and their different lives, their different features. How could I miss the resemblence between them and you." He glanced at Coraline and sighed. Triant didn't like to miss things especially if it would affect his pack, Charon was a friend if he couldn't tell Coraline then why not him. Triant was excellent at keeping secrets. Frankly because noone every told him any for the very reason of him seeming unapproachable. A triat which he admired, the only exception was Coraline. The first day they met she strolled right up and attaked him. It had startled the brute because no one ever did that to him,,,,, ever. It was like she was trying to prove she wasn't afraid. Triant smirked, she hadn't been. It always made him wonder if she was suicidal or just plain stupid.

Coraline looked at him and laughed a bit. "They are different... Though I know which pack my sisters would have joined if they could... I would have stayed though." She smiled over at Triant. The first time they had met, she had walked up to him and began barking at him to move, growling at the larger pup and then clawing at him to try and get him to stop blocking her way. A few days after that, and Jasef wasn't looking, Coraline began to follow Triant and began to snap and bark at him and taunting him for his dad, Jasef, having to come to his rescue. This, of course, had started a full blown argument, one that somehow got to a promise for him to teach her how to fight... She never could remember how it got there... But over the time of him teaching her how to fight, she had some how impressed him and they had become friends till the time when she was hurt badly and had to stay away in her den, a memory she hated still.

Triant nodded and blinked 'I still think Star Pelt's death was my fault, I could have mated her, She would still be alive." Triant snorted and rolled back onto his belly, shaking his head. The brute kept thinking over the day they had broken apart, they were both happy and were going to go their seperate way. Triant was still living and it didn't seem fair especially not to Coraline.

Nilah let the healer treat her aftyer everyone else had been, her pain subsided for now and House made her promise she would take it easy for awhile. She nodded and stood slowly like a young pup beginning to walk, and limped from the den out into the clearing. Her coat was matted with blood and she needed food to rebuild her strength. The fae grabbed a hare and took it to her den.

Sesshomaru snorted, patrolling his pack. He had assessed the damage and was not checking for how much supplies he would need for all the wounded and hungry wolves. The brute gritted his teeth, eye still clamped shut. It stung like nothing ever before, since the fae had taken a good chunk of the clear tissue out of it.
