"lily and you" Shane replied somberly and continued to walk on. she didn't need the hurt of remebering Dylan with Lily.

"oh yeah" Riley replied and started to go down the stairs and gestured for Roxanne to follow with a genuine happy smile.

"I call usin' the pistol if they come." Roxanne whispered, following Riley closely.

Dylan stared after Shane a moment, then sighed, running his fingers through his hair and looking down.
"Who's Lily?" Luke asked.
"Our sister, dude." Dylan responded, sitting in the chair he had previously been stuck to by vines.
"So what's the big deal with her?" Luke said.
"She's dead." Dylan said, and both boys fell silent.

Riley smiled and nodded then put a hand to his lips to tell her to be quiet. He opened a door and looked around no one. He sighed and motioned her foreword.

Bella slammed into a boy with black hair and blue eyes. She glared up at him, clutching her sketchbook tighter to her body. One shoulder of her maroon top was off, leaving it bare; her bicolor eyes blazed with annoyance as color flushed to her cheeks. She flicked the fine, reddish brown bangs out of her eyes. “Watch it.”

Alex looked up shyly. He hadn't seen a girl I'n a while. "sorry" he mumbled embarrassed as heck. He looked up at her and smiled slightly reading over her emotions as best he could.

Bella’s eyebrows arched; they were coppery, and fine. “Your name is?” she asked curiously. She was a bit calmer now, and she had to tilt her head back far to look at him; he was about a food taller than her.

"Alex" he mumbled looking down at her with a sweet and soft smile. He rubbed his arm slightly and held his books I'n his other hand. He was still nervous about the scragons who'd been attacking like crazy and he'd just fought one off and was shaking still.

Bella frowned, her eyes flashing with concern. She touched his arm. “You okay?” she asked gently. She gazed up at him.

Alex nodded thoughtfully. "I'm just shy" he said. It wasn't a lie but wasn't the complete truth. He shrugged with an awkward smile.

Bella’s mouth twitched into a smile. Her gaze moved to his eyes. “Um, you’re shy? That’s not a bad thing.” She raked him up and down once and nodded appreciatively. Lean figure, slightly ropy sort of muscles. Okay by her.
