Sheik scowled in a childish manner. "Am not!" he growled, acting like a cub on purpose. He sat, lying down, resting his head on his paws.

[bonjour.]

Luhua smiled, leaning back and to the side, nestling her soft fur into Sheik's. A sigh escaped her, and she stared at the hole in the side of the den, thoughts tumbling over eachother in her mind.

Sheik let out a small purr, relaxing, his eyes closing. He did end up dozing off after a bit, but it was light sleep, which he awoke from many times throughout the night.

Luhua was woken with a start, surprised she had actually fallen asleep. Though it wasn't a nightmare which woke her, it was the cub, who was busy suckling at pretty much nothing, causing Luhua pain, once more. With a groan, she slumped her head back down on the ground, stretching out on her side.

At the moment, Sheik was asleep. But moments later, he woke suddenly. He had been doing this for hours, and it made him oh-so weary. He blinked at Luhua, seeing her in pain. "You ok..?" he murmured tiredly, lying his head down again.

Luhua nodded, cringing as she pushed the cub away, ears flattening as the small creature started to yowl hungerly. "I'm sorry. Shh." she whispered, licking it's ear, only to have it squirm away.

Sheik frowned, raising his head. He watched the cub curiously. "Is he alright.." he asked softly, still tired, but worried for the little cub. Who knew how hungry he was, or when he had last gotten a proper meal.

Luhua nodded, watching as the cub skittered to it paws, focusing on her tail, which was slightly twitching. With a yowl, he pounced onto the tail, biting into the flesh. Luhua growled sternly, jerking her thin tail away from the teeth of the cub.

Sheik chuckled softly, and reached over, cuffing the cub on the head softly. he stood, stretching and yawning. The sky was turning a faint purple-blue, meaning dawn was close. "I'll go hunt when the sun rises..." he muttered, sitting again.

Luhua nodded, rising to her paws with a grunt. Bowing down in a stretch, she flexed her claws, tail lashing slowly back and forth. As she rose, she then walked forward, leaving her hind end behind her, until her hind limbs threatened to give out, causing her to bring them back in.
