Alright I'm guessing its not. If anything it would be U with the little marks, but I don't think U ever has the little marks, plus this symbol doesn't have the top dash thingabob that U has. So mebbe its just... A RANDOM SYMBOL MADE UP BY THE ARTIST? |D

I'm going with random symbol. It does not look like hiragana, katakana, or kanji.

i used to have one of those. she was beautiful! she had orange on her head too though.

Yeah, definitely not Kanji or Hiragana. I don't know any Katakana, so I thought it might be, but a look at my chart tells me its not. o3o

This owl is based on some kind of parakeet or parrot, I know it. C: I can't remember the species, though. D:

I'm going to guess it isn't Kanji - I don't know any of them, but usually Kanji are a loooot more complex than that. If anything it might be Katakana, lemme look at my chart.

Nawh, it's definitely not kanji/katakana/hiragana, unless the artist extremely stylized it LOL It's probably just a symbol that the artist made up :B Definitely one of my favorite BW's of all time though QUQ ♥
