Codylostit, Haku is made from Miku's voice. She has her own settings, yes. She isn't a real Vocaloid though. Crypton recognizes her as an official fanmade and has earned her title as a Voyakiloid.

I've heard people say that Haku is the failing to pitch Miku correctly...or when a badly done Miku song is blamed on Haku, but I think there would be no Miku without Haku, so Miku was made from Haku, because you don't just get it perfect right off the bat, you need at least some goofs before a final, good product o: But hey, that's just my opinion.

Though when done correctly, I do actually like Haku's voice.
