Hmm..So I've come up with a possible idea of what the moon/leaf kitty litter might be...I'm thinking that they might be representing the harvest moon. :3

That would explain why the other kitten is white! Some pumpkins are white and turn later orange when they are fully grown! Maybe it is a pumkin kitty, since the harvest moon is often portrayed with a pumpkin! :3

I thought of rabbits with the white kitten because of the Japanese folktale about the rabbit on the moon. Skip to the "O-tsukimi" section.
