Okay soooo...I work down at the paper. I was stuffing papers and found an ad for a geek convention coming up this weekend. On it, they talked about cosplay contest and the picture was someone dressed as a MIKU. And a MASKED MIKU at that.
I love when that happens. I'm in that area of the US where you say 'anime' and they go '...what's dat?'

some do. Just not the general public. I have my anime groupies but I tell people at school my intrests and they just stare at me like I was speaking an alien language.
