Outlaw jumped the fence and reared at Ace making his hooves come down on him.

She slowly moved away from the hooves, blood leaking into her right eye. She intervened with Outlaw's strike, his hooves landing on her instead. She held back a scream. She asked, "Why must you fight any longer? Why not just leave... with your life." She didn't want him to die. He was brave, getting back into the fight even though he was weak, and wounded as he was.

She looked at Outlaw. She said, "I'll be fine. Look at me. That barely hurt.." The marks covered her body, evidence of the hooves that cut into her.

She nudged teh mare gently to her pasture, making sure she got over the broken gate. She then turned away, and galloped toward her own pasture. Her tail whisking behind her. Her legs making soft thudding noises. She leaped, gracefully landing on the other side of the fence.
