plus i just noticed that the spots on the egs are actualy yellow and green/blue! Lol - I failed that post didnt I?

its ok. it happens to the best of us. lol a lot of us were thinking opal owls... it's the birthstone for october and there are a few different ways opals can look.



on another note, i got 2 of the moon kitties, and one blue speckled one.

Oooohhh! Opals would be so pretty. I love this stone and not just because it's my firstborn's birthstone either. Just wish it wasn't so soft and easily broken. So pretty.

I'd agree, but I'm afraid there have already been poisonous frog designs for butter-wolves:

Like I said before, I was thinking they'd be related to the Mid-Autumn Festival (in China) and then I thought werewolves but apparently none of the monthlies are Halloween-related. So I revert to my Mid-Autumn Festival theory. I think the rest of the litter could be different stages of the moon but there are leaves on the blanket, so I hope to see leafy kitties too. <3
I also love how their paw markings are sort of like grass bathed in moonlight. So awesome. :U

We have had multiple leopards, multiple tigers, multiple weather based litters... I don't see how that would affect in any. ^^ I don't know if these guys are actually based on something, but that there have been butterfly wolves based on frogs is really no reason for the cats to not be based on frogs as well.

I am desperately hoping they're based on frogs. If we get a PPS outcome I'm likely to hoard because I love how they look so far. <'3 Really annoyed I missed the blue outcome, but I hope we get plenty more beautiful ones. I don't want any of them to grow up ever. :C
