Yes, he/the other people at apple did.
They did play a very important role in the history of computer technology, if you want proof, you can read about it.
I'm not saying that all their ideas were originally theirs [Microsoft's tablet pc is older than the iPad, but the latter became moch more famous], but they did their part, and a big one as well.
And I'm missing Disney, too D: the new stuff is so...weird ._.

It's true that Steve Jobs is getting credited with a whole bunch of things - no, he didn't invent the internet, the personal computer, computer animated movies, gravity, and/or air. But he was an innovator in his own right and brought a lot of things we take for granted into the form we know them today.
Sometimes it's not a matter of being the first, but the best. Ford didn't invent the automobile, but we remember the Model T.
So really the who-got-there-first is sort of irrelevant. Steve Jobs brought a lot of good ideas to the table. He powered a lot of innovation. And I'm very sad to see him go.
