Zara walked out in the icy cold, sniffing the air every few moments. He flicked his ears, his blue-green eyes scanning the area. As far as he could tell, he was the only leopard in the area. With a growl, he itched his neck, forgetting the scar. He let out a hiss in pain, clawing the soft scars. He flicked his tail, pinning his ears, and continued to walk, head low.

Alura, sniffed, nose high in the air. She could faintly, smell a...male. The thought made her hiss. She continued to stalk away from the male she almost fought. Why had the two leopards she seen, or smelled been males? What about the females?

Sheik shook his head. "Dont say that. You didnt have enough time. Everything will be fine. Maybe i could go hunt, so you can eat. That should help." He licked her ear, letting a small purr rumble in his throat.

Zaraki stopped. He smelt a female in the breeze, and flicked his tail, turning his head. He didnt like being around other leopards, and continued on his way. He didnt realize he was going to cross the female's path with the way he was trotting.

Seeing a spotted coat in the horizon, she slipped up into a tree effortlessly. Her eyes widened as she watched the male, he was nearly 100 yards away from her, she gulped. She want another run in with a male leopard.

Zaraki, being clueless as ever, walked right through the trees, not realizing a female was in them. Probably a perfect moment to ambush. Or scare the crap outta him. Either way, you couldnt blame him. He hadnt been in the wild TOO long. He paused, looking around. Why did he STILL smell female?

Alura hissed, landing in front of him, batting the air straight in front of his nose. He hissed, her ears flattened against her skull. "What are you doing, snooping around her?!" She asked furiously, hissing at the male.

Zaraki blinked, backing up a step "No need to be so hostile. I was simply crossing, thats all." he had a cold tone, but he wasnt good at reading body language, due to being raised alone. He had no wild social skills whatsoever. He was standing normally, flicking his tail, ears pricked and his head tilted slightly.

Luhua sighed, then shook her head. "I'm not hungry. You really should relax too, Sheik." she replied, leaning against him and nestling into his warm coat, purring softly, while the cub snuggled into her stomach. She was getting excited for her own cub-or cubs-to be born.

Sheik nodded, pressing his face into Luhua's warm fur for a moment, closing his eyes. He had felt so happy that things had turned out this way. But that worry and fear was nagging him, always in the back of his mind. He flicked his ears, trying to focus on the warmth of her fur, and the sound of the cub breathing.

[size=85]Luhua smiled, licking under his muzzle, before rubbing her head into his chest, leaving it there. The female let out a relaxed sigh contently, her tail draping over his haunches as her blue eyes shut slowly.[/size]

Sheik purred, his tail softly lying over hers, the tip on her lower back. He watched the enterance to the den, not quite tired, and feeling protective. It was his job to defend his new family, and he would. He watched the enterance silently, not moving, so he wouldnt bother Luhua.
