Ari returned Jacob's shrug.Ari had only ever had his snakebites, never any other piercings.So he wouldn't know.Ari saw Jacob shrug of his cloak and thought of doing the same, but right now he felt slightly secure in it. "Is that an actually tattoo or like....a really cool side-effect of the venom?" he asked eyeing Jacob's tattoo.

"It's a tattoo, unfortunately." Jacob answered, covering the mark again. He really didn't like it. Some of the other Lithius had held him down while another tattooed his ankle. They must have really enjoyed his pain.... He sighed, turning his thoughts away from that unpleasent memory.

"Unfortunately? I think it's cool.I mean, I guess I didn't expect you to have one.But guess you can't judge a book by its cover...?" Ari slowly relaxed and pulled himself out of his sitting position and comfort zone. "I don't have any tattoo's but.....yeah..."

Jacob frowned slightly. "Yeah well, theres a rather disturbing story behind it." He said coolly. He sighed again and went back to spinning his lip ring. He examined Ari for a moment before looking away again.

Ari's eyes widened with hurt at Jacob's tone, even though he knew it probably wasn't for him.He stood up, and brushed himself off, slipping the hood of his cloak down. "Yeah? Wanna share? I have one too, though it isn't exactly a tattoo." Ari pulled back his cloak and lifted up his shirt, showing Jacob a series of black and neon blue swirls and circles that were starting on his left side,about elbow length. and running down and across his abdomen, stopping at his navel. He poked at it softly, before returning his shirt back down. "I think you know the story behind that."

Jacob frowned slightly. "Some other Lithius were bored so they kidnapped a tattoo artist. Instead of killing him, they thought it would be funny to cause the short guy pain. So, while I wasn't paying attention, they pinned me down and made the guy tattoo my ankle. Heh. I don't know why it's a scorpian, but the guys thought it was hilarious. After I passed out from the pain, they killed the tattoo guy and tied me to a tree. Wasn't the best day for me." He sighed and looked up at the ceiling.

Ari got the insane urge to chuckle, even though that story wasn't funny.Or was it? Slightly....Maybe he was just tired like Jacob. "Ah.Well at least that day is over and done with." he said lamely.Ari walked over to him and set his hand on Jacob's hip. "Some people just suck.And no matter what you do, there is always going to be something.Not comforting I know.But it's a fact.You just have to cope and move on, focus on the better things."

Jacob offered a tiny smile. "Yeah well, can't say I miss them too much. They're all dead. Killed either by humans or other Lithius. Guess we all are going to end up that way at the rate things are going at." He yawned again and groaned. He really, really needed a nap.

Ari began shaking slightly, getting easily scared once again. "Uh...yeah.Maybe." he said quickly.Ari didn't want to die, and the image of Jacob's lifeless body......he quickly shook his head, scattering those thoughts away.Ari yawned after Jacob yawned. "Your contagious.Sleep.I'll watch over you." Ari might not be a match for any other Lithius, but it didn't seem as there was any around, at the moment.

Jacob nodded sleepily and curled up in the corner, still on the large cargo crate. It wasn't the most comfortable spot, but it would work for now. "They'll probably leave us alone, anyway." His soft voice replied after a second. He yawned once more before falling into a deep sleep.
