Saya rubs his cheek. "Ow." She quickly stood and kept Duece from hurting him. "No Duece calm down." She looks at the King gives her a hand. "Th-thank you your highness."

Arianna winced as he slapped her. "Leave now!" she commanded to the knight. Her voice was filled with ice and her eyes where likewise as cold. She helped her friend up and moved protectively infront of her.

Guy glared down at the Queen. Surely she could not do this. Guy looked to John for some backup but John just stood there.
"Guy." King John said with a nod. "I'll meet you at the stables."
Guy's eyes went wide with rage and shock and he looked from John to Arianna. He harshly tugged his reigns and rode off, Malfazar snorting his pain. "Should of slapped her too." he muttered angrily under his breath.

"No its ok really! I should have paid more attention." Saya said brushing it off.

Frank rode after the two girls, his head focusing on his horses neck as they trotted along before a small glinting caught his eye, looking up and noticing Arowins dagger "And thats for?" he asked,sitting up and frowning.

Dalilah's anger at Frank still shone clearly in her eyes. She raised on of her wrists to show him the cuts that the chains had left from him capturing her earlier. She sheathed the dagger and swung Lara around. Suddenly a plan formed in her mind.

Arianna sighed. "Not at all Saya. He hurt you and I won't allow it." she said simply. She turned back to John. "Good luck." she said and smiled a thin smile. Kyle squirmed in her arms reaching for his father but she held him tight. John had work to do.

John smiled back. "Thank you." he said. He nodded to his escort of guards and started walking towards the stables. He used his free arm to pull his velvet cloak around him tighter. The crisp winter air was pushed by a gentle breeze from the north. Perfect for tracking.


Emerald turned Envy towards the east and Arrowin's old house. She tried to forget everything and focus on her riding. The gentle sway of Envy's canter, keeping her shoulders back and heels down. But suddenly something didn't feel right. The sound of hoof beats no longer joined Envy's. She pulled Envy to a stop and looked behind her. Rebecca and Frank were far behind her. Though she couldn't see Rebecca's face, her posture seemed rough and rigid. She curiously nudged Envy into a slow trot and started back towards them to see what was going on.

Saya smiled at the young prince. "Kyle would you like to ride Duece with me?"

(( Sorry I've been super busy lately, it's not even winter yet and I have a terrible cold... uuughhh ))

Prince Stephan had slipped out of the cell again and was crouched behind a boulder searching for the dagger they had stolen from him when he saw Rebecca and Emerald emerge from around the back of the cave. He froze, quieting his breathing. He listened quietly to their conversation and realized they were leaving. He cursed himself inwardly and waited until they had headed off. He had to learn more. He had to talk to Rebecca. Panic gripping him, he leaped up and found his way back to where they had tied his horse. Stroking Sinner's mane, he jumped onto the still-saddled stallion's back and rushed after them, grabbing his shoulder bag of weapons from a cleft in the rock as he went. He kept back, tracking their hoof prints. His skilled eye caught on to their trail quickly, and he rode silently, moving faster than before. He saw the shapes of their horses in the distance, saw Rebbecca. He moved daringly closer and waved to Rebecca before noticing the fierce glint of her eyes. He saw Emerald double back and retreated into the woods, hoping Rebecca had seen him.

Chris lay in silence. The boards of the treefort creaked as his captor jumped from the platform.

Sam saw the girl, the leader, drop her dagger. He also realized the bait, but he didn't care. He had powers not everybody could imagine. With just a few words, he could have the girl give him what he wanted. He was, let's just say, VERY persuasive. Cautiously he made his way down the trees, sneaking around so that he was facing the girl's back. He stayed perched hidden in the low branches of a tree and called out, "I have your friend captive. His life is in your hands. Only I can find and reach him, and he would be a fool to try and escape on his own. I could have killed him a while ago, but I'll make you a deal. Give me the prince, and you can have him back alive."
